3. Background & Purpose
The purpose of this project is to provide safe, durable, and ADA compliant access by
constructing or replacing concrete parking areas and sidewalks. This project improves
visitor access, staff mobility, and overall site safety.
4. Scope of Work
4.1 Parking Lot Construction
• Construct concrete parking lot per drawings.
• Prepare subgrade with excavation, compaction, moisture conditioning, and ensure
proper drainage.
• Install aggregate base.
• Place reinforced concrete 75’x39.5’x6” .
• Finish, edge, cure, and joint concrete.
• Install striping and signage as required.
4.2 Sidewalk Construction
• Construct ADA-compliant sidewalk 81.5’x6’, 30’x6’, and 10’x10.5’.

• Maintain ADA slopes.
• Construct ADA compliant curb ramp.
4.3 Demolition & Removal
• Remove existing concrete, pavement, or materials.
4.4 Site Restoration
