Statement of Work (Interior Finishes) - Introduction The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Albuquerque Area Office, Alamosa Field Division (Reclamation) is looking to interior touch-up and repairs to 4 upper-level offices at their main office building in Alamosa, Colorado. This project consists of limited‑scope interior improvements to four second‑floor offices and one closet located across the shop building and the main building. The work is focused on repairing surfaces, refreshing finishes, installing new flooring, and performing minor ceiling and lighting modifications as needed. Contractor shall perform all repairs, furnish all equipment and materials and perform required work. - Abbreviations, Definitions, and Acronyms The Bureau of Reclamation commonly used definitions are listed below: AFD - Alamosa Field Division BOR - Bureau of Reclamation CO - Contracting Officer COR - Contracting Officer’s Representative CS - Contracting Specialist MDT - Mountain Daylight Time OGR - Onsite Government Representative RSN - Required Submittal Number SEMS - Sustainability and Environmental Management System (BOR) - North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) The NAICS code for this work is 238320. 1.3 - Location and Hours of Operations The Reclamation’s facility is located at 10900 Highway 160 East, Alamosa, Colorado 81101 in Alamosa County at Latitude 37º 28’ 22.3” and Longitude 105º 50’ 32.1”. Alamosa Field Division facility is approximately 1.7 miles northeast of downtown Alamosa, Colorado on US Highway 160. Reclamation’s standard business hours are Monday through Friday from 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM MDT except Federal Holidays. Reclamation is a smoke, drug, and alcohol-free facility. 1.4 - Facility Access and Deliveries Contractor shall inform the CO and COR a minimum of 5 working days prior to mobilizing personnel, equipment, and materials/supplies to the project site. In addition, if the Contractor would like to have delivery of materials and/or supplies direct shipped to the project site, the Contractor shall notify Ms. Susan Storm and COR a minimum of 3 working days (seventy-two hours) prior to the delivery of materials/supplies. The Contractor shall communicate with Susan the following: Provide a detailed list of items to be shipped and arrive at the Alamosa Field Division (AFD) Provide the shipping company’s name and related information Provide estimated day and time the items are to arrive at AFD Ms. Susan Storm contact information is as follows: Susan Storm, Facility Manager Bureau of Reclamation Alamosa Field Division 10900 US Highway 160 Alamosa, Colorado 81101 (719) 589-1810 SStorm@usbr.gov The Contractor shall check and maintain all equipment stored at the AFD shall be protected from weather, humidity, temperature variations, dirt, and dust, and/or other contaminants. 1.5 - Site Visit The Government (Reclamation) highly recommends perspective Offerors to complete a site visit for a complete understanding of the project objectives and scope. **There will be a scheduled site‑visit window upon issuance of the pending solicitation 1.6 - Government Furnished Materials Government shall provide, if available, design data if requested by the Contractor for the purpose of fulfilling the requirements of these specifications. – General This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements, responsibilities, and expectations for performing selective interior updates to several second‑floor office spaces located within the shop building and the main facility. The work includes cosmetic repairs, finish upgrades, and minor structural and electrical modifications. All work shall be completed in a manner that minimizes disruption to ongoing facility operations and complies with applicable building and safety standards. - Background Several office spaces on the second floors of both the shop and main building have reached a point where surface finishes and minor infrastructure elements require improvement. The affected areas include two small offices in the shop and two offices plus one closet in the main building. Current issues include worn or outdated flooring, wall surfaces in need of repair, and a lack of a functional ceiling in one of the shop offices. These conditions impact the usability, appearance, and overall efficiency of the work environment. To address these needs, targeted interior updates are planned to restore these spaces to an appropriate operational standard without initiating a full-scale renovation. – Purpose The purpose of this project is to perform limited‑scope interior improvements that enhance the functionality, appearance, and comfort of the identified spaces. This includes repairing wall surfaces, repainting, replacing flooring, adding a ceiling where needed, and making minimal modifications to lighting to accommodate the newly installed ceiling. The goal is to refresh and modernize these areas while maintaining a focused scope that avoids unnecessary construction or comprehensive remodeling. 2.3– Scope Shop – Second‑Floor Offices (Two Offices) Perform wall repairs as needed to create a smooth, paint‑ready surface. Prep and repaint all walls in both offices Remove existing flooring and install new flooring in both offices. In the larger office:– Construct and install a new ceiling.– Extend existing walls to meet the new ceiling height.– Remove, relocate, and reinstall lighting fixtures to accommodate the new ceiling layout. Main Building – Second‑Floor Offices and Closet (Two Offices and One Closet) • Remove all existing flooring from two offices and one closet.• Install new flooring throughout: – One office currently has existing tile flooring.– One office has thin carpet. • Ensure transitions to adjacent areas are properly finished and materials are installed to manufacturer specifications.
