Statement of Work
SECTION I
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES SPECIFIC TASKS
1. SCOPE OF WORK
1.1 The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and
other items necessary for the installation of a new 23/32 T& G OSB sheeting two level
platform (see attached shop drawing for dimensions). Contractor to provide and install 27
vinyl covered auditorium seating with store-away laminated desktops (colors/red vinyl
seat and back, black laminated store away desk tops). Contractor to provide and install 24”
x 24” carpet squares.
2. LOCATION
2.1 The project site is located at 16 WPS, 4269 Tyndall Ave, Bldg. 282, Nellis Air Force Base,
Nevada 89191.
3. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
3.1.1 Contractor to provide material and labor for the installation of a two-level wooden
platform for auditorium seating. Contractor to construct the platform with 23/32
T&G OSB sheeting and anchor to the floor. Contractor shall not anchor or penetrate
the walls as part of this installation. (see attached drawing for platform dimensions)
3.1.2 Contractor shall protect in place all carpet/flooring, walls, and ceiling areas around
work site.
3.1.3 Contractor to provide and install 27 vinyl covered auditorium seating with store-
away laminated desktops. The first row of seating to be mounted to existing floor
and the next two rows to be mounted to the new wooden raised floor/platform.
Seating spec: Proquina Pranna, row ends to be oval 300, backs opera 2” thick foam
with soft curve back, arm options flat with royal style desktops. (colors/red vinyl seat
and back, black laminated store away desk tops.
3.1.4 Contractor to provide and install 24” x 24” carpet tile/squares on new raised
platform only with metal nail down stair nosing. (Color TBD) Carpet spec:

4. FACILITIES DAMAGE:
4.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for all damage to furniture, buildings, facilities, and
grounds, caused by his/her work forces or equipment, and shall repair said damages to the
satisfaction of the Weapons School Construction Representative (WS Rep) at no expense to
the Government.
5. SCHEDULE
5.1 The Contractor shall prepare a written schedule of operation for all stages of work to be
performed and shall submit it to the WS Rep for approval prior to work start.
6. WORKING HOURS
6.1 Working hours for the Contractor shall normally be between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm, Monday
through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. If the Contractor desires to work during periods

other than the above, he/she must identify by letter to the WS Rep at least five working
days in advance of the dates desired and identify the work that will be accomplished if
approval is given. The Contractor shall not be reimbursed for any changes or work
accomplished outside the scope of the contract without prior approval by the WS Rep. In
addition to the above, close coordination with the Government must be maintained.
6.2 The government/16 WPS will provide all escorts needed for work to be performed within
the vault area.
7. FINAL INSPECTION
7.1 The Contractor shall notify 99 Contracting office and WS Rep for the final inspection and
certification. Final clean up shall be made prior to any inspection. All project
documentation is required within 30 days of project acceptance, unless noted otherwise
in the statement of work.
SECTION II
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS
1.1 The contractor shall provide the name of the responsible person who has full authority to
act for the contractor on all matters relating to the performance of this contract. The name
of this person or alternate(s) who shall act for the contractor when the responsible person
is absent shall be designated in writing to the contracting office. The responsible person or
alternate shall be available to discuss problem areas within 1 hour during normal duty hours
and within 2 hours after normal duty hours. Normal duty hours for Nellis AFB are 7:00 am to
3:30 pm, Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays. All contractor personnel must
be U.S. Citizen and possess proper ID to work on and gain access to Nellis AFB to perform
work in a secure area within building 282.
2. UNIFORM AND APPEARANCE
2.1 Contractor personnel shall present a neat appearance and be easily recognized as
contractor employees. While on duty, all employees shall wear a company unique uniform
of the style and color normally used by industry. The uniform shall be always clean and
neat in appearance.
3. SAFETY
3.1 There are no identified hazards on the designated property. Government shall provide an
asbestos and lead base clearance letter for the area.
4. JOB SITE
4.1 Contractor to clean the job site at end of each day, contractor is responsible for disposing
of all trash and construction debris in their own dumpster. No trash to be disposed of in
the building/facility dumpster containers.

The below picture contains a rough layout desired by the customer. The HIGHLIGHTED yellow portion
will be the platform to be built with two rows of 9 seats. The final row will be a row of 9 chairs built into the
floor directly. All chairs will be facing the door frame side. Dimensions are shown below.
