PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SYNOPSIS The following is only a pre-solicitation notice, not a formal solicitation Request for Proposal. The Department of the Interior-National Park Service (NPS), ConOps East intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a firm fixed price construction contract to remediate hazardous lead-based paint (LBP) at the historic Santa Elena Guardhouse, a one-story structure comprising approximately 6,188 square feet of exterior painted surfaces at San Juan National Historic Site. The contractor shall provide all technical support, materials, tools, equipment, and labor required to fully remove deteriorated and hazardous LBP from lime plaster walls, trim, eaves, soffits, and the ceiling and walls of the exterior front hall, as well as from wood windows and doors according to the statement of work that will conform part of the solicitation. This requirement is being prepared per FAR Part 36, Construction Contracts, and will be solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
