The Contractor shall perform all maintenance required by the Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) to return the KC-46 Smoke Barrier to a serviceable condition, and any deviations from the CMM must be approved through the 107 process outlined in section C.2.0 of this SOW. In order to ensure all materials are Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) compliant, McConnell shall provide all required materials for repair and will transport Smoke Barriers requiring repair to and from the repair facility, with repair to be verified on site by McConnell Quality Assurance (QA) member or a QA designated representative. The Contractor must be a certified FAA Part 145 Repair Station. C.2.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 2.0.1 The Contractor shall perform all maintenance required in the removal and reinstallation of USAF provided metal or plastic zippers/patch work of punctures and application of BMS 5- 146A glass tape on pin holes in accordance with the KC-46 maintenance program. The Government shall supply the required CMM, manual number 25-52-78 to the vendor. The CMM will be provided to the Contractor via the Product Improvement Manager (PIM) TSgt Lorenzo Latney, office phone number 316-759-2785. The CMM will be provided on a compact disc in the pdf format. The Contractor will contact the PIM to verify their copy of the CMM is current before they begin repairs. The PIM will instruct the Contractor on how to verify currency of the CMM. Repairs outside CMM requirements must be approved by the Government through the Air Force 107 engineering request process. The Point of Contact for the 107 process will be the McConnell AFB Air Force Engineering and Technical Services (AFETS) office, phone number 316-759-3499, with Mr. Alton Wright being the primary contact, cell phone 316-617-1486. 2.0.2 The smoke barrier, container, and any other supporting equipment will be documented on an itemized list, and all items the Contractor receives must be returned, with the exception of consumables. The Contractor will be responsible for packaging, crate reassembly and shipping preparation. Item repairs will be documented on an Authorized Release Certificate Form FAA 8130-3 with item being Returned to Service once block 14a is checked to represent compliance with the regulations detailed within block 14a, as well as passing an inspection performed by a McConnell QA member or designated representative. Detailed repair information is required in Block 12 Remarks including: Technical Data References; brief description of the repairs completed; completed repair numbers; and Air Force 107 numbers if applicable. C.2.1 NON-PERSONAL SERVICES . 2.1.1 The Government shall neither supervise contractor employees nor control the method by which the contractor performs the required tasks. Under no circumstances shall the Government assign tasks to, or prepare work schedules for, individual contractor employees.
