1 27 July 2026 Statement of Work Power Pits McConnell AFB, Kansas 1. Overview 1.1 The 22nd MXG requires troubleshooting, identification of inoperability, and writing of report regarding the Power Converter and Power Pit assembly in buildings 1125, 1126 center bay, and 1124 south bay. All applicable units are currently non- functional. 1.2 Building 1125 is believed to have a damaged track motor or the tracks themselves responsible for raising and lowering the power pit. 1.3 Building 1126 Center Bay is believed to lose power somewhere between the wall unit and the pit. 1.4 Building 1124 South Bay is believed to have damaged / faulty track or motor. Power Pit has been mechanically locked in the up position for usability. 2. Description 2.1 The following Part Numbers and accessories (cables to/from) are subject to troubleshoot. Power Pit Model: USS24S(12)-20X20-32X32-60D-400Hz(30) Jet Power Part: 2913670.17BLU1 Model: JTP3 Plus 180KVA/480V/60HZ DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to troubleshoot the equipment and provide a detailed report. -- 1 of 11 -- 2 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The performance period for this contract shall be no later than more than 45 days after award of the contract. A weekly status update is required. 3. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 3.1. 4. WORKING AREA 4.1. Power Pits are located in 1124S, 1125, and 1126C. 1126N and 1126S have power pits that are fully operational and can be inspected for comparison. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION: 5.1. Security 5.1.1. Removing objects from refuse for personal use is unauthorized. Contractor Personnel may request items through unit designee. Violations are grounds for termination. 5.1.2. Contractor shall adhere to current installation security policies. 5.2. On-site Project Installation Support Hours: 3.1. The following requirements have been identified for operations of McConnell AFB. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, labor, supervision, tools, and troubleshooting equipment required to diagnose, test, and resolve operational issues. All testing and diagnostic supplies will be provided by the contractor unless specified in the sections below. Contractor shall keep in effect all necessary permits, licenses, and insurance. All troubleshooting work shall be completed in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations and the terms and conditions of this Statement of Work (SOW). -- 2 of 11 -- 3 5.2.1. Contractor Personnel shall be readily available during normal duty hours at the site, Monday through Friday, from 0700-1600. Concessions are made for religious holidays, at the discretion of the US, when it does not interfere with operations. 5.3. Emergency Services: 5.3.1. On occasion, services may be required to support an activation or exercise of contingency plans outside the normal duty hours described above. 5.4. Standards of Conduct: 5.4.1. Contractor Personnel must adhere to standards of conduct as established by the Installation Commander. 5.5. Records: 5.5.1. Developed and provided at the start of the orientation period or the start of the first operational performance period (if there is no orientation period) a safety plan for the protection of government facilities and property and to provide a safe work environment for contractor personnel. 5.6. Access to Project Site: 5.6.1. The contractor will coordinate troubleshooting arrangements within 5 days of performance with the Corrosion Control section. 5.7. Contractor Quality Assurance: 5.7.1. The contractor shall be responsible for the quality of all completed work. The contractor shall ensure all work performed has been checked for quality and accuracy. 6. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY (GFP) AND SERVICES: 6.1. The US Government will not provide any equipment, fuel, personnel, utilities or facilities to the contractor for the execution of this contract. Should an emergency arise, only the necessary basic lifesaving and life support measures will be provided during the emergency. 6.2. Safety: The contractor shall comply with all base fire, safety and confined space regulations while completing their install. 6.3. Duty Hours: Work will be accomplished while building is occupied. Normal Hours of Operation for this contract are between the hours of 0700 to 1600 hours local Monday through Friday. The -- 3 of 11 -- 4 contractor shall perform the services required under this contract during this time excluding Saturdays, Sundays, Wing down days and Federal Holidays. 6.4. Contractor Consent to Background Checks: The contractor and, as applicable, subcontractor shall not employ persons for work on this contract if such employee is identified as a potential threat to the health, safety, security, general well-being or operational mission of the installation and its population, nor shall the contractor or subcontractor employ persons under this contract who have an outstanding criminal warrant as identified by the National Crime Information Center (NCI). NCI checks will verify if a person is wanted by local, state, and federal agencies. All contractor and subcontractor personnel must consent to NCI background checks. Contractor and subcontractor personnel who do not consent to a NCI check will be denied access to the installation. Information required conducting a NCI check includes: your full name, address, and social security number, date of birth, driver’s license number and state and completion of a background check questionnaire. The contractor shall provide this information using the McConnell AFB Form 114, Contractor/Vendor Access List, and shall submit it in conjunction with the contractor’s request for either base or vehicle passes. Completion of a successful NCI check does not invalidate the requirement for an escort when contractor or subcontractor personnel are working within controlled or restricted areas. 6.5.
