Description

Project Title: 1.0 Background The existing electrical system has several components that are outdated, unsafe, or not up to current code standards. The exterior lighting is inefficient and requires frequent maintenance. This project is to repair the electrical system and replace the exterior lighting to improve safety, reliability, and energy efficiency. 2.0 Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the following tasks: 2.1 Main Electrical Panel Replacement Demolish and remove the existing main electrical panel. Install a new main electrical panel with all new circuit breakers. Seal all wall penetrations to ensure a watertight seal around conduits. 2.2 Exterior Receptacle Replacement Replace twelve (12) existing exterior wall receptacles with new 20-amp rated devices. Connect the new receptacles to a new Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) breaker in the main panel. Remove any existing extension boxes on the exterior receptacles. Install new receptacles and in-use (bubble) covers for all exterior receptacles. 2.3 Sub-Panel Breaker Refresh Install fifteen (15) new circuit breakers in the existing load center sub-panel to refresh the panel's integrity. 2.4 Exterior Lighting Replacement Remove and dispose of six (6) existing exterior safety wall lights and their associated wood mounting plates. Install six (6) new LED wall pack lights. Mount and seal the new light fixtures to the building to ensure a watertight installation. 3.0 Performance Requirements All work shall be performed in a professional manner and in accordance with all applicable national, state, and local codes and regulations. All materials and equipment shall be new and of a quality that meets or exceeds industry standards. The contractor shall be responsible for all necessary permits and inspections.
