The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is seeking information from
potential sources. They must be able to provide the materials and cut them to the size when
requested. See description of the requirement listed below. In the Statement of Work (SOW).
The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement
is 333517 – (Machine Tool Manufacturing), and PSC 9640.
The anticipated procurement will be firm fixed price. It is anticipated that the Request for Quote
(RFQ) will be issued on or around 15 June 2026 via the Government Point of Entry (GPE).
If your company has the capability to perform these required services, please provide the following
information:
1.) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and type of
ownership for the organization. Must be currently registered on SAM.GOV.
2.) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate
documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability.
3.) Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code.
4.) Size of business - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), HUBZone,
Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated to

Detachments (ARD) recurring need for specialized steel cutting. See the description below for a detailed
list of sizes and types that we will be procuring but not limited to.
*Vendors need to be within a 60-mile radius from the ARD detachment below to support the urgent
nature of these buys and limit an unnecessary downtime
