The current forklift is beyond economical repair as it is aging and needs constant repairs. Having a new forklift with the capabilities below will make it possible for the Grounds Department to maximize the increasing workload and operations. The proposed forklift is a Sellick SLP 60K4e-4PS, 4WD, Powershift, 4-Speed or equivalent model. Description 6,000-pound, 4-wheel diesel combustion engine and hydraulically operated with pneumatic tires. Required Optional Features Enclosed Cab - 85 OAH ROPS/FOPS certified Cab Heater - 24,700 BTU Block Heater 110V-SLP Outside Mirrors 60 Hook Carriage CLIII 6K3R 60 Hook Pair (190838) Loadguard 60 x 48 6/8 HK/SH 3 Spool Valve Block Scope The contractor will have the requested products delivered to Northport VA Medical Center, 70 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. Contractor is responsible for installation of all accessories, pick up, freight, and delivery from point of origin to delivery at the Northport Veteran Affairs Hospital. The machine must be able to be locally maintained by a factory certified repair facility. If an item in this solicitation is identified as brand name or equal, the purchase description reflects the characteristics and level of quality that will satisfy the Government s needs. The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that equal products must meet or exceed are specified in the solicitation.
