1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision,
equipment, tools, supplies, materials, and transportation necessary to launder training
equipment.
2. SCOPES OF WORK: 43d Air Mobility Squadron, Individual Protective Equipment
(IPE) Mobility Section requires a monthly recurring laundry service to wash and dry
any/all used training equipment.
2.1 Laundry: All training equipment will be inventoried, packed, transported,
cleaned and returned to the IPE Mobility Section, Pope AAF, NC, Bldg 560.
3. GENERAL NOTES:
3.1 Verify existing conditions, quantities, dimensions, and details prior to bidding on this
project.
3.2 Coordinate with work-center prior to pick up and drop off.
3.3 Contractor shall use experienced professionals for all processes of this project.
3.4 All damages caused by the Contractor to existing conditions shall be repaired by the
Contractor at no additional cost.
3.5 Process the washing of the Joint Service Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology
coat and trousers, individual sleeping bags, and cotton glove inserts.
3.6 Maintain all necessary project safety signs and devices as required.
3.7 All work accomplished under this contract order shall comply with applicable
OSHA standards.
4. WORK HOURS
4.1 Pick up and drop off will be performed during normal duty business hours: M-F
7:30am – 4:30pm EST.
4.2 Contractor must be capable of transporting 784 cubic ft. of material in one movement.
4.3 Work will be completed & equipment returned no later than 10 business days [pending
quantity] from the pickup date.

4.4 The contractor will coordinate with the Chief of Material Management concerning this
project.
5. SECURITY
5.1 All workers shall be legal U.S. Citizens with valid picture IDs who can gain clearance
access into a federal military installation.
5.2 No guns, drugs, or illegal paraphernalia will be authorized on the military installation.
5.3 All vehicles, equipment, and containers may be subject to search at any time while on
or seeking access to the military installation.
5.4 All workers will be escorted at all times within the IPE Section.
6. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: Upon completion of work, IPE personnel will
inventory and inspect each item prior to receipt into stock.
