2. Contract Title. Programmable Handheld Radios for Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) Employees
3. Background. The Electronics Section within Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Service needs additional handheld radios for specific staff members and police for official government use. These handheld radios allow employees to communicate with different departments for day-to-day operations or during emergent situations. Radios are also used as a method for ensuring staff and patient safety.
4. Scope. The scope of this award includes hardware, batteries, programming, software license, and one-year standard warranty.
5. Specific Tasks. Multi-capable programmable Handheld radios allow designated SAVAHCS employees and police to communicate for day-to-day operations and during emergent situations.
