Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.  It is neither a solicitation nor a request for quote (RFQ) and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract.  Request for solicitation will not receive a response.  The Government will not pay nor reimburse any costs of preparing this response.  The source s sought notice is for market research purposes to make the appropriate acquisition decision and gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing with an associated size standard of 1,250 employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 Orlando Contracting Team is seeking interested sources for Upgrading our Chapel Audio Visual System that is used to stream all events live through their in-house cable TV Feed. Most of the existing AV system will remain in place and new equipment will be installed to provide additional wireless and wall mounted microphone coverage, government furnished equipment (GFE) display audio ingests, and wall mounted microphone control for the Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC). See attached documentation to see the salient characteristics. If your business can meet or exceed the requirement, please provide a capability statement. The capability statement shall be limited to no more than five pages and must clearly state the following: Capability in industry to manufacture or provide the required Audie Visual Equipment. Offerors who cannot provide historical information from their company regarding the outlined attachment or similar scope and scale should provide corresponding information to show how the company would meet the OVAMC requirements. This information should provide level of confidence in the Government that an offeror would meet or exceed the delivery requirements to provide the required product. Scope of Work: Provide the following equipment to include all personnel, transportation, tools, materials, supervision and incidental services necessary to furnish, deliver, install, integrate, test and commission the required AV commodities. One (1ea) - Digital Audio Network Interface (DANTE) The DANTE shall provide the capability to transport professional-quality digital audio across a standard Ethernet network without perceptible delay or degradation in audio quality. The equipment is required to be compatible with items listed in Section 4 Government Furnished Equipment. One (1ea)- AUDIO CONFERENCING PROCESSOR - The Audio-Conferencing Processor should function as the central audio processing engine for the conference room, providing intelligent digital signal processing for all connected microphones, loudspeakers, conferencing devices, and audio inputs. The equipment is required to be compatible with items listed in Section 4 Government Furnished Equipment. One (1ea) - MICROPHONE, 4' LINEAR ARRAY, WHITE - 4FT - is a 4-foot networked linear array microphone featuring onboard IntelliMax DSP and Autofocus technology. Designed for professional AV conferencing, its sleek white form factor can be mounted on walls, ceilings, or flush into tables to deliver clear, echo-free audio. - The networked microphone shall provide high-quality voice pickup throughout the meeting space while minimizing unwanted background noise and room reverberation. The equipment is required to be compatible with items listed in Section 4 Government Furnished Equipment. Two (2ea) - MICROPHONE, DUAL COMBO - is a dual-channel wireless combo system. It is highly prized for presenters, lecturers, and houses of worship because it allows simultaneous use of a hands-free ear set microphone and a handheld mic. Each wireless microphone system shall support professional speech reinforcement and conferencing applications. The equipment is required to be compatible with items listed in Section 4 Government Furnished Equipment. One (1ea) - DUAL WIRELESS RECEIVER - 4-channel Audio Network Interface (ANI) that bridges standard analog signals (like wired or legacy wireless microphones) onto a digital Dante network. It provides four 3-pin XLR inputs, converting analog to digital for easy routing over Ethernet. The equipment is required to be compatible with items listed in Section 4 Government Furnished Equipment. Two (2ea) - BODYPACK TRANSMITTER - Wireless bodypack transmitter. It operates in the H10 frequency band (542 - 572 MHz) and is designed to work seamlessly with Shure BLX series wireless systems (such as the BLX4, BLX4R, or BLX88 receivers). The equipment is required to be compatible with items listed in Section 4 Government Furnished Equipment. Three (3ea) - TRAY RACK FOR BLX4, BLX88, GLXD4, PG4, PG88, PGX4, and PGXD4 - The Contractor shall furnish rack mounting hardware required to install the furnished wireless receiver equipment within the existing AV equipment rack. The equipment is required to be compatible with items listed in Section 4 Government Furnished Equipment. Two (2ea) - CABLE CONNECTOR 2' 4PIN MINI CONNECTOR TO 1/4" - a 2.5-foot instrument cable. It features a 4-pin mini-connector (TA4F) on one end and a standard 1/4-inch jack on the other. This cable is designed to connect guitars, basses, and other instruments to wireless bodypack transmitters. The equipment is required to be compatible with items listed in Section 4 Government Furnished Equipment. One (1ea) - ETHERNET SWITCH, 8-PORT GIGABIT ETHERNET POE+ DESKTOP - connects wired devices and delivers both data and up to 30W of electrical power per port through standard Ethernet cables. This eliminates the need for nearby power outlets. The equipment is required to be compatible with items listed in Section 4 Government Furnished Equipment.
