STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) Contract Title. PREMIUM POINT OF CARE ULTRASOUND SYSTEM Background Southern Arizona VA HealthCare System current ultrasound machine has become obsolete and can no longer be repaired due to part unavailability. Emergency Department will need a new premium point of care ultrasound system and will serve primarily for diagnostic ultrasound of all body areas including measurements and advanced calculations Scope Southern Arizona VA HealthCare System Emergency Department will need a new premium point of care ultrasound system and will serve primarily for diagnostic ultrasound of all body areas including measurements and advanced calculations Salient Characteristics: CONSOLE/Main Unit: Must have an Advanced Cardiac Configuration Must have a high resolution touch screen 15.6-inch-high resolution LED monitor or larger with minimum resolution of 1680x1050 Must include a monitor that displays the images and parameters during the scan Must have a control panel with operator-system interface or control Must have power input port that connects the power adapter Must have an HDMI port which outputs high-definition multimedia signals Must have a USB port that connects USB devices Must have an ECG port that can connect the optional ECG lead Must have a probe port for connecting a probe to the main unit or connects a probe to the extend module Must have a probe locking lever that locks or unlocks the probe connected with the main unit Must have a curved transducer with frequency range of 1.4-5.7 MHz Must have linear transducer with programmable buttons with frequency range of 3.0-20 MHz Must have phase array transducer with frequency range of 1.1-4.7MHz Must have a wireless transducer that combines two arrays in one hand-held device. One transducer must be a linear array and the other transducer must be a sector array Must have all the following scanning modes: B-Mode, Color Flow, 2D, Needle Visualization Enhancement, Pulse Inversion Tissue Harmonic Imaging, M-Mode, Pulse Wave Doppler, Simultaneous Doppler, Power Doppler, Color Doppler Doppler displays must include: Frequency, velocity, power, duplex, dual imaging, 2x pan/zoom, dynamic range and gain, triplex, needle enhancement Must have ability to enter standby or sleep mode Must have AI cardiac guidance, real-time EF, and Lung Sweep Must have all of the following analysis packages: Procedural, intraoperative, abdominal, musculoskeletal, small parts, ophthalmic, pelvic, urology, obstetric, breast Extend Modules: Must have a minimum of 3 transducer ports Trolley Appearance/Cart: Must have a probe cable hook to manage the probe cable Must have a minimum of three active transducer ports Must have an ascending/descending lever to adjust the height of the cart Must have a printer bracket to place an optional printer Must have a storage tray for use of placing the adaptor, gel and other accessories Must have a USB port that connects USB devices Must have 4 casters used for securing or moving the system. Must have a mechanism to lock and unlock the casters on the cart Must have adjustable height Must have a hook to manage probe cables Must have a storage box Must have a power supply panel Must have a battery and AC power indicator Power Supply Panel Must have a Equipotential terminal Must have a Power Inlet Must have a Power Supply Outlet Must have a minimum battery life of 120 mins Miscellaneous Must include a 5-year warranty to include Installation/implementation and Training After delivery of the new premium point of care ultrasound system, the vendor shall: Delivery must be with ninety (90) days of ordering. Complete installation and go live must be completed within sixty (60) of delivery. The vendor shall ensure all equipment delivered is fully operational to manufacturer’s specification and free from defect. The vendor shall provide delivery, set up, and technical support for clinical staff and clinician training for use the system. The vendor shall report all recalls, removals, modifications and safety notices from the manufacturer, distributor and FDA, and provide immediate notices (within 48 hours) to the Contracting Officer and the facility point of contact and the VHA Product Recall Office for any notices identified for medical devices. The vendor shall coordinate with VA Supply Chain Management or facility appropriate contact agree upon delivery day and arrival to the facility. The vendor shall provide digital format operation manual include the care, handling, set up, and cleaning instruction of the mobile and multi-modality guidance intravascular imaging system Program Point of Contact (POC).
