Sources Sought Notice This is a Sources Sought Notice for a tentative requirement for a new (NOT refurbished or used) SonTek Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) kit. Brand Name as further defined in the Specifications below. As part of the Bureau of Reclamation’s information and planning purposes, the draft Specifications describe only the current contemplated possible salient characteristics and may vary in the final Specifications included in any Request for Quotation (RFQ). The anticipated delivery is on or before September 30, 2026. A Request for Quotation using NAICS 334513 Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables is contemplated. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of the Bureau of Reclamation’s market research. A Request for Quotation does not currently exist. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes to which the Bureau of Reclamation can issue any awards. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Government does not intend to award a purchase order/contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked “Proprietary” will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to this Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. The Bureau of Reclamation will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a Request for Quotation, make an award, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this Sources Sought. The Bureau of Reclamation is requesting interested companies to provide a Capability Statement, which should include their company’s socio-economic status, inclusive of Total Small Business, if applicable. The close for acceptance of Capability Statements or interest is July 30, at 10:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT). -- 1 of 2 -- DRAFT SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Line Item 1 • SonTek Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) kit- Part Number-RS5-MAX-PK3 o ADCP Sensor head o Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) GPS Antenna o For the ADCP Sensor Head:  Must be able to store recorded data on ADCP to be downloaded after measurement on bank, as well transmitted through Bluetooth connection  Must include Measurement Software  Depth Range: 0.1-6 m (*1)  Resolution: 0.001 m/s  Radio Protocol: Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE5)  Must include a durable carrying case  Included ADCP accessories kit (cables, Battery Packs, Bluetooth Antenna, etc.) o For the GPS Antenna:  Real- Time Kinematic style GPS antenna to include both Base Station and Rover Antennas  Rechargeable Li-Ion batteries  Base to Rover Range of at least 250 m line of sight  Horizontal Accuracy: (Quality 4) < 0.02 m  Vertical Accuracy: (Quality 4) < 0.02 m  Include tripod for base station  Include mounting hardware Line Item 2 • Flotation Platform-Part Number HB2-MAX  Large floatation platform compatible with the ADCP mentioned above  Maximum velocity of 5.0 m/s or 16.4 ft/s Line Item 3 • Flotation Platform Carrying Case:  Include a durable carrying case for the flotation platform mentioned above Line Item 4 & 5  Any adapters needed to mount the ADCP Sensor Head and GPS Antenna to the larger flotation platform.
