CUI CUI STATEMENT OF WORK Furniture Install, Building 1318 33 OSS/F-35 Intel FTU Eglin AFB, Florida 1. SCOPE 1.1 The project is located at Eglin AFB, Florida, 33rd Fighter Wing, Building 1318. The contractor shall be required to furnish all materials, equipment, labor and personnel to deliver and install new furniture in Building 1318, Rooms 135, 136, 138, and 139. 1.2 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, facilities, equipment, materials and incidentals, in accordance with this contract, to perform all services to procure and install furniture for the Rooms listed above, located at Eglin Air Force Base. If directions to the location are needed, please contact the Contracting Officer for assistance. 1.3 Contractor shall perform all field investigations, office work, and installation as required to accomplish a complete and usable furniture procurement and installation. 1.4 Contractor shall be knowledgeable of and shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, permits, DoD, AF, and base requirements and instructions required for performance of duties in this Statement of Work (SOW). 2. DESCRIPTION OF WORK 2.1 Installation Services: The contractor shall retrieve furniture already purchased and stored in a warehouse in Building 1408, deliver it to Building 1318, build and install it. This includes all necessary components and materials. The contractor will remove and dispose of any packaging or shipping materials and debris generated by any work under this contract off Eglin Air Force Base. The contractor will be responsible for repairing any damage done to building 1318 during the process. The warehouse in Building 1408 is located across the street from Building 1318 at 1408 Nomad Way, Eglin Air Force Base. The contractor will also be responsible for repairing any damage done to the warehouse Building 1408. 2.1.1 List of Furniture to Be Built and Installed by Room: o Room 135:  1 x T2  2 x A2  1 x AV1  1 x D4  2 x S5 o Room 136:  1 x A1  1 x A2  1 x AV7/8  1 x D3  6 x T4 o Room 138:  1 x A2 -- 1 of 6 -- CUI CUI  2 x AV1  2 x D3  2 x S4 o Room 139:  1 x A2  1 x AV1  2 x S3  2 x D2  1 x D4 o Additional furniture to be built, not room-depending:  12 x C1  4 x C2A  14 x C9 2.1.2 Reference Order Data Sheets Combined attachment for images and descriptions of furniture. 2.1.3 Furniture should not impede HVAC or Fire Suppression elements in the rooms. 2.1.4 Walkways shall be no less than 36 inches wide. 2.1.5 The contractor shall appoint an authorized representative who will be the company's senior representation on site for all customer communication and enforce compliance of all requirements for the project. This representative shall have a physical presence during any removal, delivery, and throughout installation. 2.1.6 The contractor representative shall have the customer review the installation drawings prior to installation. 2.1.7 Contractor shall be liable for any damage to government property caused by the contractor or their representatives. 2.1.8 During installation the contractor shall protect all furniture and building materials, including carpet, existing within the space with industry approved protective coverings inclusive of craft paper, moving blankets and such types of material. The contractor shall not use protective materials that will leave any type of residual print, outline or image on any furniture or building materials. Contractor shall not repair damage to finishes unless directed by customer but will be responsible to pay for damages. The government will make repairs and back charge the installation contractor. 2.1.9 The contractor shall uncrate/unpack all items and perform required assembly in accordance with the manufacturer instructions. 2.1.10 Services shall include assembly of product to conform to final customer approved design drawings. 2.1.11 Any furnishings attached to the building shall be attached securely. 2.1.12 Services shall include removal of packing materials from the installation and thorough cleaning of all products. Prior to acceptance, the contractor shall clean all furniture only with the manufacturer's recommended cleaning agents/products. The -- 2 of 6 -- CUI CUI contractor shall inspect to ensure the furniture is free of surface dirt and defects, the installation is complete, and the furniture is ready for use. 2.1.13 All trash removed from the worksite shall be disposed of in accordance with state laws, and packaging and other recyclable materials shall be recycled wherever possible. 2.1.14 The contractor shall maintain environmental controls when working in any government facility, to include but not limited to keeping doors shut and lights off when not in use and turning off vehicle engines when parked. 2.1.15 Furniture, equipment, and accessories shall be level, square, and in proper alignment with adjoining furniture. All drawers should operate smoothly and stay closed when not in use. The contractor shall provide all components, completely assembled, installed, and operational, including keys in each lock set. All powered sit to stand desks must be tested and verified as fully operational prior to acceptance. 2.2 Design Work 2.2.1 The contractor shall provide design services, including space planning, site verification, material selection and programming as necessary for the project. 2.2.2 The contractor shall be responsible for collection of information relevant to the design/redesign of a space. Services shall include site evaluation to ensure proper fit of the furniture within the given space and that all structural and other anomalies are taken into account. 2.2.3 All designs of furniture layouts, including original designs and any subsequent redesigns, must be accomplished by qualified professional designers and should have three years’ experience using software similar to that proposed for this contract. 2.2.4 The contractor shall provide additi…
