Specifications/Item Listing (Commodity) Statement of Work for EXHIBIT SUPPORT The Travis AFB Aviation Museum has a requirement for three (3) different size museum display cases: mannequin (5 each), table top (1 each), and exhibit display (1 each). Construction/Design style must meet existing museum cases. Items are necessary to meet requirements set forth in Air Force Instruction 84-103, U.S. Air Force Heritage Program, Paragraph 8.4.2, Exhibit Case Requirements. Mannequin Exhibit Case with Hinged Door Case must meet these salient characteristics or equal: • Tower/freestanding • Overall Dimensions: 84”H x 36”W x 36"D • Base Dimensions: 12”H x 36”W x 36"D • Interior Height: no less than 70 ¾ inches • ¼ inch UV filtering acrylic top and sides • Welded aluminum top and bottom frame • Painted medex case base • Base and frame in “cream” or equivalent color • Interior deck color “oatmeal” or equivalent color • Hinged door, gasketed, with keyed lock • Hinged door (must open for unobstructed access to case interior) • Base/Floor leveler on each corner • Built with museum-quality materials, including a formaldehyde-free Medex base and deck covered with laminate • Deliver cases assembled -OR- assemble by contractor upon delivery Table Top Exhibit Case with Hinged Door Case must meet these salient characteristics or equal: • Hinged table/panel leg • Deck Size: 43W x 25"D • Overall Dimensions: 44 1/2H x 48W x 30"D Mannequin Case -- 1 of 2 -- • Pedestal Height (in.) 32 • Base and frame in “cream” or equivalent color • Interior deck color “oatmeal” or equivalent color • Hinged door, gasketed, with keyed lock • ¼ inch UV filtering acrylic top and sides • Base/Floor leveler on each corner • Built with museum-quality materials, including a formaldehyde-free Medex base and deck covered with laminate • Deliver cases assembled -OR- assemble by contractor upon delivery Exhibit Display Case with Storage Case must meet these salient characteristics or equal: • Deck Size: 59 1/4W x 29 1/4"D • Interior Clearance: 20"H • Overall Dimensions: 52H x 60W x 30"D • Sealed case with silica gel compartment • Security screws • Removable Deck Yes • Shelving No • Flawless, hand-polished acrylic vitrine is exceptionally clear • Airtight display cavity uses silicone gaskets for minimal air exchange • Exterior access door allows you to change silica gel without disturbing your collection • Locking two-door cabinet base with one removable shelf for storage *Documentation: Vendors must provide photographic evidence for display case evaluation process. Warranty: Standard commercial warranty, 12 months. Delivery: Contractor shall deliver display cases within 60 days after contract award.
