COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Solicitation # 12FPC326Q0041 USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service Chevy 3500 Knapheide Topper and Installation for USDA NRCS- Boise, ID Total Small Business Set-Aside Page 1 of 11 Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12FPC326Q0041 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for purchase and installation of a Knapheide brand Topper that fits over existing utility boxes currently installed on a 2024 Chevrolet 3500 Silverado HD. (see attached photos) for USDA NRCS- Boise, ID. The Government anticipates the award of one firm fixed-priced contract resulting from this solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible vendor with the quote that conforms to this RFQ and is the best value for the Government. This acquisition is being set aside for 100% small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336211 - Motor Vehicle Body Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,000 Employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Statement of Requirement The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Boise, ID has a requirement for the purchase and installation of a Knapheide brand Topper that fits over existing utility boxes currently installed on a 2024 Chevrolet 3500 Silverado HD. (see attached photos). Please see specifications outlined in the Product Description document (See C04 Attachment 1 Brand Name Only Product Description 9Jul26). Period of Performance / Delivery date will be approximately 60 days after receipt of award. Local installation is preferred, within 100 miles of Boise Idaho. The customer will handle dropping the truck off for installation and picking it up after. The offeror shall include all applicable freight charges required to deliver all products to ground level at the destination in their price quote. The offeror shall provide a Firm Fixed Price quote that is in accordance with this solicitation. To be considered technically acceptable, the offeror must submit the following: 1) Quote on Company Letterhead, with photo(s) and data sheet/specifications, any amendments as applicable, signed, and priced; 2) Item(s) must conform to the required specifications; 3) Registered and active in SAM.gov prior to award. 4) Must submit copy of SAM.gov registration. As part of the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), system updates may lag policy updates. The System for Award Management (SAM) may continue to require entities to complete representations based on provisions that are not included in this solicitation. Contracting officers will rely on representations from offers based on provisions in the solicitation.
