4.3 Haul Route: Approved haul route for BLDG 8129 is from the Tye Gate and straight onto 3 rd Street to Avenue
E. Approved haul route for BLDG 5276 is from the Tye Gate and straight onto 3 rd Street to Avenue E than to Avenue
E-1. Contractor is required to use the Tye Gate for all access.
4.4 Refer to Attachment “B” – Specifications for additional project requirements.
4.5 Contractor shall haul in topsoil & grass seed the area disturbed by demolition & former
building/walks/drives/slab locations. Topsoil shall be a minimum of 4” thick over a compacted subgrade (95%
standard proctor). All areas shall slope away from former building & drive locations; no ponding of water shall be
allowed. Prepare topsoil for receiving of grass; refer to Specifications.
5.1. EXISTING AS-BUILTS: All available and relevant as-built drawings are provided by the Government as
electronic copy on CD-Rom in either *.tif images or *.pdf Adobe formats, refer to Attachment “C”- As-Builts on CD.
All existing site, utility, facility conditions and dimensions shall be field verified by Contractor.
6.1 DIRECTION: The Contractor shall accept directions only from the Dyess AFB Contracting Officer (CO).
Requests or desires of the users or using agency made directly to the Contractor shall be immediately brought to the
attention of the CO. Any changes to the project scope or other provisions of the SoW must be authorized in writing
by the CO.

PART 1 – GENERAL
1. SCOPE: The work covered by this project consists of the Contractor furnishing all layout, survey, plant,
labor, supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies,
and incidentals and of performing all operations in connection with the construction contract requirement
at Dyess AFB, Texas, complete and in strict accordance with the plans and specifications.
2. WORKING CONDITIONS: Contractor shall carefully consider the following when contemplating
