STATEMENT OF WORK ABSTRACT: This item describes the inspection and overhaul of five (5) Carrier Model 30HXS-146R-6-KA Chill Water Units. REFERENCES: TM S6230-CY-MMC-010 Revision B ITEM LOCATION/DESCRIPTION: Carrier Model# 30HXS-146R-6-KA GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/MATERIAL/SERVICE: All required shipping will be arranged utilizing government transportation. 5 EA x 30HXS-146R-6-KA Chilled Water Units. NOTES: NONE QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: Inspections outlined in this statement of work shall be established with the MSCREP. All work to be performed to OEM specifications. STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIRED: Work shall be accomplished by a qualified Carrier 30HXS-146R-6-KA AC Service Representative to perform the overhaul requirements and repair facility to ensure overhaul and repairs of Chilled Water Units is IAW OEM specifications. Repair facility must be equipped to supply all services needed to operationally test Chill Water Unit. Conduct an as found condition inspection of the chill water unit and provide any recommendations in an initial Condition Found Report. Submit the report to MSCREP immediately following inspection completion. Conduct a thorough inspection, cleaning and overhaul of the Chill Water Unit and return unit to Ready For Issue condition. Disassemble condenser, evaporator, compressor valves and controls for overhaul. Clean the water heads and tube sheets, prepare surfaces for coating and repair if necessary. Apply coating with Enecon CeramAlloy CP+ or equivalent approved by MSCREP. Establish an inspection for MSCREP. All repairs, corrections and tests shall be in accordance with reference 2.1 Perform Condenser inspection to include Eddy Current tests of all condenser tubes. If more than 10% of condenser tubes require replacement additional work will be performed by CFR and Change Order. Provide separate line item pre-pricing for the following: Replace all Condenser tubes with contractor furnished materials per OEM Spec. Includes after installation testing. Rebuild Compressor and motor Rebuild oil pump Installation of system drier ball valve service ports. Replace all o-rings and gaskets on the entire chill water unit including, but not limited to, solenoid valves, covers, liner o-rings, compressor oil filter plug, and filter o-rings. Replace all filters and system driers Replace dryer cores. Replace Thermal Expansion Valve(s) Replace Bumper muffler discharge valve(s). Refrigerant side: Evacuate any existing refrigerant or gas present and dispose per regulatory requirements. Perform a nitrogen and freon charge leak test. Repair any leaks. Upon completion, evacuate gas and place an inert nitrogen gas charge set at 15 psig. Provide a check point for MSCREP Establish an inspection for MSCREP to attend for operational test meeting criteria for all operating parameters. Provide certification to MSCREP of all work performed in a final report on delivery of overhauled chill water unit. Report shall include photographs of all major components disassembled highlighting any as found discrepancies. Preservation requirements: Remove all rust and loose paint. Degrease, clean and paint entire unit to OEM paint schedule. All electrical covers shall be opened and control contacts and components cleaned of any corrosion and sprayed with contact cleaner. This includes controls in the main control panel, actuator motor switches and all other switches and junction boxes. Add desiccant and moisture indicators to all electrical controls enclosures. Do not put desiccant in direct contact with electrical components. Re-crate units in shipping crates suitable for International Shipping. Once unit is re-crated for shipping, install desiccant and moisture indicators inside shipping crate for long term storage. Crating shall be in accordance with ISPM pub 15 and shall be suitable for international shipping by air. Stencil each crate externally and on all four sides with content nomenclature and part number. Stenciling shall be 3” block lettering. Reports. When inspection, service and testing reveal any deficiency a condition report is to be submitted to the OMT REP with recommended repairs and parts required. Submit one electronic copy in Portable Document Format (PDF). Submit a report that includes “as released” condition of the air conditioning plants and refrigeration plants. Submit one electronic copy in Portable Document Format (PDF). All reports and checklists are to be completed and signed by the person who carried out the inspection and maintenance work and countersigned by the Company’s representative. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: None additional.
