Description
PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT
LOAD TESTING LIFTING EQUIPMENT
January 23, 2026
1. Purpose: It is the government’s intent for the contractor upon delivery to load test all the
pieces of equipment. (2 wing slings, 4 propeller straps, 2 center of gravity tools, 2 engine lift
fixtures, 2 4ft straps, 2 30ft straps, 1 1/2 ton lifting beam, 15 items total)
2. Scope: The contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, tools, paint, test equipment and
appliances. All work shall be performed in accordance with this Performance Work
Statement (PWS) and associated specifications and drawings
(1Q-9(M)A-2-4). All work shall also be performed in accordance with international, federal,
state, and local building codes.
3. Period and Place of Performance:
3.1. Contractor shall perform all work at their place of business.
3.2. Contractor shall coordinate equipment delivery with us so that all work is
completed no later than fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of equipment.
4. Background: The 147th AMXS maintenance flight is responsible for the inspection and
maintenance of four MQ-9 Aircraft. The equipment mentioned in item 1 are essential in the
maintenance of our aircraft.
5. Performance Objectives: The contractor shall provide the following results:
5.1. Load test all the items according to provided documentation
(1Q-9(M)A-2-4) and or identify any discrepancies.
5.2. This testing must be completed annually.
6. Deliverables: The contractor shall provide all the test equipment and labor.
6.1 The contractor shall also provide a certificate or documentation of the results of all
the equipment equipment.
7. Operating Constraints: The contractor shall be subject to the following constraints:
7.1 The rules and regulations of their facility.

7.2 Testing constraints indicated in the (1Q-9(M)A-2-4) for the tested equipment.
7.3. Recognized Holidays: The following are recognized United States (US) holidays. The
contractor shall not perform service on these days:
7.3.1. New Year’s Day: January 1st
7.3.2. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday
7.3.3. President’s Day
7.3.4. Memorial Day
7.3.5. Juneteenth National Independence Day: June 19th
7.3.6. Independence Day: July 4th
7.3.7. Labor Day
7.3.8. Columbus Day
7.3.9. Veteran’s Day: November 11th
7.3.10. Thanksgiving Day
7.3.11. Christmas Day: December 25th
