Description

Statement of Work Project: QPAC Polishing Equipment Maintenance, Emergency Repair and Repair Parts Scope: The contract shall provide services for onsite preventative maintenance, emergency repair service and repair replacement parts, component upgrades and equipment refurbishing necessary to maintain performance and operational readiness of government owned QPAC Polishing Equipment Serial Number: MP2050127 as specified herein is required by the Government. All services, maintenance, emergency repairs and upgrades and refurbishing shall be performed by trained, certified and warranted service technicians. All replacement parts shall be from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or be equal with OEM parts and be warranted for a period of not less than 90 days for manufacturing defects or inferior workmanship. All requests for service and replacement parts placed against this contract shall be requested by the designated appointee and initiated by the Directorate of Contracting located at the Anniston Army Depot. Period of Performance: The proposed contract will be for a period up to one (1) year from the contract award date with the option to extend for up to three (3) years. The base period of performance shall begin from the date of contract award acceptance. Service Requirements: The contractor shall provide for onsite services for preventative maintenance, emergency repairs and installation of repair replacement parts, component upgrades and refurbishing of government owned QPAC Polishing Equipment. The contractor shall provide detailed itemized cost estimates based on request for service and replacement/repair parts, component upgrades and equipment refurbishing. The contractor shall provide warranty on all workmanship and durable parts in accordance with the manufacturers stated terms and conditions. The contractor shall provide detailed trip reports that include cost break down. The contractor shall respond to requests for emergency service within 24 hours and arrive onsite within two (2) working days. The contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, materials and components necessary to make the QPAC equipment operational. The contractor shall upon completion of preventive maintenance, calibration or emergency repairs, installation of component upgrades and equipment refurbishing the contractor will demonstrate that the QPAC Polishing Equipment is operational for acceptance purposes. The contractor shall provide detailed service reports for onsite service calls to describe the services provided. Preventive Maintenance: The contractor shall inspect of the machine for worn or damaged components, filter conditions. The contractor shall provide a list of worn or damaged parts found during the machine inspection. The contractor shall prepare and submit for approval a detailed itemized budgetary estimated cost for the replacement of the worn or damaged parts needed to ensure machine readiness. The budgetary estimate shall list the item description, manufacture, part number, cost and quantity required. The contractor shall visually inspect the electrical system wiring, electrical components, electrical motors, electrical pumps for damage, and verify proper voltages are within manufacturer’s recommended tolerances. The contractor shall perform operational checks on the QPAC Polishing Equipment and the related support equipment. The operational check shall include but not be limited to pressure gages, indicator lights, key board buttons, workstation pendant display functions, micro polishing tape feeding functions. The contractor shall inspect the machine for level, proper axis alignments and component alignment and function. The contractor shall Verify/Perform operational test of the QPAC Polishing Equipment. The contractor shall submit individual detailed service report for each machine serviced. The report shall list the current condition of the machine the work performed during the PM and any additional findings not covered under the preventive maintenance plan. Emergency Repair: The contractor shall respond to requests for emergency repair service within 24 hours. The contractor shall provide budgetary cost estimate for each request for emergency service. The contractor shall prepare and submit for approval a detailed itemized budgetary estimated cost for the replacement of the worn or damaged parts needed to ensure machine readiness. The budgetary estimate shall list the item description, manufacture, part number, cost and quantity required. The contractor shall provide onsite emergency repair services to repair the QPAC Polishing Equipment to operational status. The contractor shall provide all replacement parts, tools and supplies required to complete the repairs. The contractor shall submit individual detailed service report for each machine repaired. The report shall list the current condition of the machine the work performed to repair the machine and any parts used during the repair. Equipment Upgrades: The contractor shall respond to requests for emergency repair service within 24 hours. The contractor shall provide budgetary cost estimate for each request for services to upgrade or refurbish the polishing equipment. The contractor shall prepare and submit for approval a detailed itemized budgetary estimated cost for the replacement of the worn or damaged parts needed to ensure machine readiness. The budgetary estimate shall list the item description, manufacture, part number, cost and quantity required. The contractor shall submit individual detailed service report for each machine repaired. The report shall list the current condition of the machine the work performed to repair the machine and any parts used during the repair.
