Removal and Recycling of Storage Sheds

Appendix 1: Steel Storage Sheds To be Removed from NOAA Inouye Regional Center (Updated 6/7/2026) The five storage sheds to be removed are numbered in this schematic depicting the current laydown area at NOAA Inouye Regional Center on Ford Island, Pearl Harbor. Descriptions and photos of each storage shed follow. #1: Former Hazmat shed (equipped with Wall A/C) - Gov Property Dimensions: 16'1" X 9'3" X 8'8" High Exterior Automatic Fire Suppression System with Manual Pull Station tied to Alarm Bell (system to be disarmed & pressurized gas cylinder removed by NOAA prior to haul away) Not bolted to concrete pad. Not powered on site. #2: Former Hazmat Shed (equipped with Wall A/C) - Gov Property Chem-Stor (Ideal Environmental Products), 2010 Dimensions: 14'6" X 8'6" X 9’ High Exterior Automatic Fire Suppression System with Manual Pull Station tied to Alarm Bell (system to be disarmed & pressurized gas cylinder removed by NOAA prior to haul away) Bolted to concrete pad (nuts will be removed by NOAA prior to haul away) 240v power will be disconnected by NOAA prior to haul away. #3: Former Hazmat Shed (Wall A/C will be removed by NOAA prior to haul away) - Gov Property Chem-Stor (Ideal Environmental Products), 2003 Dimensions: 16'6" X 9'6" X 9’ High Exterior (est. 18K lbs) 4 Hour Fire Rated Includes wire shelving storage racks. Bolted to concrete pad (nuts will be removed by NOAA prior to haul away) 240v power will be disconnected by NOAA prior to haul away. #4: Former Hazmat Shed (equipped with Wall A/C) - Gov Property Chem-Stor (Ideal Environmental Products), 2003 Dimensions: 16'6" X 9'6" X 9' High Exterior (est. 18K lbs) 4 Hour Fire Rated Bolted to concrete pad (nuts will be removed by NOAA prior to haul away) Solar panels and equipment will be removed from roof and interior by NOAA prior to haul away. 240v power will be disconnected by NOAA prior to haul away. #5: 10ft Conex (equipped with Wall A/C) - Gov Property 10ft Conex with 4 corner posts, cargo door and roll-up door, 2017 Dimensions: 10" X 8’ X 8’6” High Exterior Electrical package: 3 outlets (including for a/c), breaker box, disconnect box Counter tops including a sink basin (might be removed by NOAA prior to haul away) Note: The Contractor will subsequently move at least one new 20ft Conex into the footprint of #3 and #4 once they are removed as part of the anticipated Phase 2 onsite relocations. #1: Former Hazmat shed (includes installed Wall A/C) #2: Former Hazmat Shed (includes installed Window A/C) #3 & #4: Former Hazmat Sheds #5: 10ft Conex
