1. SCOPE
1.1 Intent. This work item describes the requirements for the Contractor to open, inspect & report, test, and overhaul Allied Systems Marine Crane Dual Point Davit Model DDP11000CTS.

3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 General – The Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials to open, inspect, report, overhaul, test, preserve, package & mark, a government-furnished & not-ready-for issue Dual Point Davit to a ‘like-new’ and Serviceable “A” condition davit within this contract requirement. The Contractor shall accomplish all work herein in accordance with SFLC Std Spec 5000 and TP 7602A. Parts provided shall be in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, drawing(s) and data provided within this Statement of Work (SOW). Reclaimed, recycled, or aftermarket parts are not acceptable and shall not be used.
3.1.2 Serviceable “A” condition is defined as fully functional refurbished Dual Point Davit meeting all required design specifications & dimensions in accordance with Coast Guard Drawings and being capable of functioning and performing in the same manner as an identical new Dual Point Davit.
3.1.3 The requirements described herein are considered the minimum necessary and are not intended to
replace any procedures, controls, examinations, or tests normally employed by the Contractor to assure
the quality of the product.
3.1.4 Non-structural fasteners and grease fittings. The Contractor shall renew all non-structural fasteners and grease fittings with stainless steel to suit fastener requirements. Nonstructural fasteners include roll pins, circlips, cotter pins and other fasteners.
3.1.4.1 Elastomer renewal. The contractor shall renew all O-rings, oil seals, gaskets, and seals.
3.1.4.2 Bearings and Bushings. Contractor shall renew all bearings and bushings.
3.1.4.3 Fasteners. The Contractor shall renew all non-structural fasteners with 300-series stainless steel fasteners
3.1.5 Receipt report. Within ten (10) days from receipt of the davit, the Contractor shall inspect and inventory the davit assembly and submit a receiving report with digital photos of moderate resolution for the following:
General condition of the shipping container and davit assembly.
Davit model and serial numbers.
Missing or damaged parts/components with digital photos of moderate resolution (due to attachment size limits for CG Email) of each.
3.1.6 Additional part renewal reports. The Contractor shall provide a report via CFR for all additional parts deemed necessary for renewal with supporting reasons for each renewal.
3.1.7 ABS/SOLAS Certification. After completion of all work, the contractor shall Dual Point Davit system shall validate or renew the ABS/SOLAS certification status of the davit.
3.2 Inspections.
3.2.1 Disassemble, Clean and visually inspect. The Contractor shall disassemble, clean and visually inspect the following and submit a CFR and cost proposal for COTR and Contracting Officer approval within 60 calendar days of receipt of davit:
Structural: arm assemblies, tilt cylinders, control console
Hydraulic Systems: 125HP motor & axial piston pump, with fixed gear, control valve, winch system , brakes, clutches, constant tension system, gears, relief valves, switches, anti-2-block switches, accumulators, counterbalance valves, and sheaves.
Electrical System: control console, wire rope tension sensor and anti-2-block controls
3.2.2 Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI). The Contractor shall perform NDI of the following in accordance with SFLC STD Spec 0740, Appendix C.

Power Sheave Assembly
Overhaul. Upon receipt of the Contracting Officer’s authorization to proceed, the Contractor shall overhaul and preserve (as applicable), all major components/assemblies and sub-components/assemblies, including & not limited to Mechanical Assemblies, Hydraulic System including primary & secondary HPU assemblies, Boom & Power Sheave assemblies, winch, CT & emergency systems, Electrical System’s starter & power assemblies, accumulators, winches and motors.
3.3.1 Replacement of hydraulic hoses. The contractor shall furnish and renew all hydraulic hose assemblies in accordance with SFLC Stud Spec 5000, Appendix C and provide manufacture cure dates, age of…
