QUESTION #01:
We kindly request some clarifications on following items
1) We would like Government to confirm the quantity of hoses. Based on Enclosures 2.2.1
and 2.2.2, our understanding is that there are total of 48 hoses for the four (4) MDGs
(approximately 12 hoses per engine) and 52 hoses for the one (1) EDG. Please confirm
that this understanding is correct.
2) Please confirm whether all hoses will be Government Furnished Material (GFM).
3) Paragraph 7.3.2(m) references spray shields/tape. Please confirm whether these materials
will also be provided as GFM.
4) Please provide the approximate size (diameter) of each hose to assist us in preparing an
accurate quotation.
ANSWER:
Hoses are to be provided as CFM
Fabrication shall be completed using each installed hose as a template.
Spray Tape will also be CFM.

specification does not provide the pipe sizes or total lengths requiring replacement. Please
provide the pipe sizes and lengths, or the applicable drawings so that we can accurately
determine the required quantities.

per zone).
Please clarify the required work scope. Based on the referenced drawing, the area of Zone 3
appears to be closer to 15,000 SQFT rather than 62,484 SQFT
