Contact the Contracting Officer (CO) if any items are missing. • Specs_668-25-105_Replace Grease Traps 1. General Provide construction services to include labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and other services necessary for Project 668-25-105, “Replace Grease Traps” at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center, Spokane, Washington. Scope of work is indicated below. Total project duration shall be 120 calendar days. 2. Statement of Work 2.1 This NRM project will remove and replace five (5) kitchen grease traps in accordance with the provided project specifications. Existing grease traps vary in size but replacements shall be Zurn Z1170-400-ZS (stainless steel) or equal with mounting options required for the existing floors. Floors shall be cut as far back as necessary to remove, replace, and connect piping to the new grease traps. Grease traps shall be installed flush with floor level. Floors shall be patched to edges of new grease traps with like flooring materials, color matched with approval by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Performance of Work: 3.1. Where conflicts exist between this SOW and the project specifications, this SOW takes precedence. 3.2. The contractor shall provide a qualified manufacturer’s representative to check complete installation for conformance to manufacturer’s recommendation, to place the system into service, to make all adjustments required for full conformance to design and specified requirements and to perform all demonstrations and testing. 3.3. An operating test shall be run in the presence of the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). 3.4. The contractor shall verify locations for space requirements. 3.5. Compliance with VA Infection Control requirements shall be strictly enforced and will be a significant work effort. 3.6. Work hours shall be coordinated with VA Dietetics and Canteen staff and COR to ensure minimum impact to kitchen operations. Dietetic kitchen operating hours are 0630 – 1830 daily. Canteen kitchen hours are 0630 – 1430 daily. 4. Deliverables: Manuals and warranty documents per Specifications. 5. Performance Monitoring The COR will evaluate all work and testing performed. Items must be in a clean state and in a proper working condition. 6. Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Government-Furnished Information (GFI). The Contractor will not have access to any Government-Furnished Equipment. Inspection and Acceptance Criteria. As part of final system acceptance, a systems demonstration is required. System operation shall be demonstrated by the installer in the presence of COR. 8.
