Description

Sources Sought Notice for Yellowstone & Grand Teton Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement: a market survey for information only to be used for preliminary planning processes. The intent of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential prime contractors for a construction, Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, and Federal roads located near or leading to the Parks. It is also intended for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned, and other Small Businesses interested and capable of performing the proposed contract work MATOC Requirement FHWA-WFLHD intends to award several Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity MATOCs. The number of actual awards will be determined at a later date. Task Order Requests for Proposal will be issued to MATOC holders only. The scope of work for task orders may include, but are not limited to the following construction services: road reconstruction, bridge rehabilitation/reconstruction, emergency repairs, traffic control (permanent and temporary), subexcavation, placement of aggregate, grading, slope stabilization, asphalt milling and recycling, retaining walls, blasting, wetland mitigation, parking lots, survey, and contractor sampling and testing. Projects may be in environmentally sensitive areas that necessitate context-sensitive constructions techniques and processes. NAICS Code 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction apply to this procurement with a size standard of $45 million. Estimated Price Range: Task Orders will vary in size, ranging from approximately $20M to $260M, with the majority between $20M and $80M Response: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should include all information requested in (a) through (h) below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company has the capability and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) Company Name (b) Address (c) Point of contact (d) Phone and email (e) UEI number (f) Bonding Capacity (per contract) (g) Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business (h) Listing of your highway/bridge construction experience within the last 10 years. All projects must be in environmentally sensitive areas similar to national parks.
