Description

1 STATEMENT OF WORK FOR 2026 14 Weapons Squadron Auditorium/Classroom Visual & Sound Renovations 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall provide all management tools, equipment, supplies, technical data, and labor necessary to test, tear down, quote (TD&Q), and complete required and authorized renovations on the 14 th Weapons Sq, Hurlburt Field, FL - Building 91048 as well as installment of new microphone and sound systems, commercial visual displays, and electrical wiring in 1 auditorium and 4 classrooms. All work shall be accomplished within building 91048. All work shall be in accordance with required sound and visual specifications and all Hurlburt Field Air Force base guidelines and current Government contracting regulations. All equipment and devices to be used or installed must abide by the DISA RME Vendor Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) or any restrictions/extensions of this list set by the appropriate authority for Hurlburt Field. The contractor shall accomplish all tasks to meet the requirements of the Statement of Work (SOW). 1.1. In both the Auditorium and Classrooms, the contractor shall install the following in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Hurlburt Field guidelines: 1.1.1 The contractor will replace or remove all current visual and sound overhead wiring as needed. 1.1.2 The contractor will update all required wiring to fullest extent possible to integrate the new media cabinet to use the currently installed projectors in each space. If use of the current projectors is not possible, the contractor will inform a designated 14 Weapons Squadron point of contact (14 WPS POC) in writing of the limitations. 1.1.3 The contractor will install a control box/panel to control the entire system and can switch between all audio and video capabilities. Control box should have the functionality to change all required inputs and outputs with the touch of one button. 1.1.4 The contractor will ensure that all media cabinet equipment and associated systems are able to handle Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRnet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) in accordance with all applicable Department of War, Air Force, and Hurlburt Field regulations and guidelines. 1.1.5 The contractor will ensure that all equipment installed and repurposed can be serviced and will provide servicing within 3 business days of notification. -- 1 of 4 -- 2 1.2 In the Auditorium the contractor shall install the following in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Hurlburt Field guidelines: 1.2.1 The contractor will install a new media cabinet to house all required video and audio equipment to remove the existing Audio/Visual rack currently installed. The new rack must look like the current podium, with a furniture finish and provide proper ventilation. A good example would be the Middle Atlantic Sota C5 Credenza. 1.2.2 The contractor will update/install new wiring required to send sound to the currently installed 14-speaker system to ensure integration with the renovated or new media cabinet that will be installed. This will also need to be able to take input from 9 hard-wired microphones. The number of speakers needing to be operable will only be lowered at the written agreement of the 14 WPS POC. 1.2.3 The contractor will install or renovate existing equipment to enable video telecommunications with video resolutions no lower than 1080p. Camera must have motorized functions to rotate, tilt, and auto-focus. Equipment must function on the same one-touch solution previously mentioned. 1.2.4 Projectors, if they must be replaced, must display video resolutions no lower than 1080p. If any currently installed projectors display a maximum video resolution lower than 1080p, they must be replaced. 1.2.5 The contractor will replace the existing motorized projection screen on the West wall of the auditorium with a motorized screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. 1.2.6 The contractor will remove and replace the existing projection screen on the East wall of the auditorium with a motorized screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. 1.3. In the Classrooms (rooms 118, 119, 120 and 133) 1.3.1 The contractor will update/install new wiring required to send sound to the currently installed speaker systems in the classroom from the applicable podium/AV rack. 1.3.2 The contractor will enable the integration of our current Ideum Pro tables with the applicable podium computer and AV system. 1.3.3 The contractor will install a new, or renovate/repurpose the existing, media equipment and condense the equipment from the existing podium and existing AV rack into similarly styled and functioning as a Middle Atlantic Sota C5 Credenza or smaller to house all required video and audio equipment. -- 2 of 4 -- 3 1.3.4 The contractor will remove the current speakers and replace them with 4-6 6in speakers that can be controlled via the one-touch system previously requested. 1.3.5 The contractor will install an Uninterruptible Power Supply that can maintain power to the podium computer for at least 5 mins. This does not include installed AV equipment. 1.3.6 The contractor will ensure that the two projectors in each room can display different and duplicate images from the podium computer. 1.4 Guidelines. The contractor shall perform the following: 1.4.1 The contractor shall provide all parts, equipment, tools and associated labor to remove and replace all components listed in this Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide their own electrical bodies and labor to install/remove any electrical component as needed. 1.4.2 The contractor shall perform operation checks on all components of the install before declaring all tasks complete. This check will be performed in front of and with the designated 14 WPS POC.
