Date: March 2026 Subject: BLM Law Enforcement ATV Purchase 2026 (x 2 machines) All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Required Specifications: The following are the ATV specifications required: • No less than 686 cc, 4-stroke engine • Needs all-wheel engine braking capability • Must have 4-wheel hydraulic disc brakes (discs on all four wheels) • Needs to have On-Command 3-way locking differential with 2WD, 4WD, locked 4WD • Needs to have gears for high, low, neutral, reverse, and park • Must have power steering • Must have a stainless-steel exhaust system, with a screen-type spark arrestor • Must have Independent Double Wishbone Suspension front and rear • No less than 7.6 inches of front wheel suspension travel • No less than 9.1 inches of rear wheel suspension travel • Needs to include a factory installed Warn Pro Vantage/VRX 2500lb winch • Must have 27-inch Maxxis mud tires • Must have 14-inch diameter wheels • Must have no less than 11.8 inches of ground clearance • No more than 49.2-inch wheelbase • Must have a minimum of a 4.7-gallon fuel tank • Must not have a wet weight of more than 785 lbs. • LED main headlights/taillights preferred • Must have 2-inch rear receiver hitch • Needs to have a OEM high-mounted air intake (allows for safer stream crossings/preventative mud build-up) • The ATV color to be earth-toned, no bright colors (professional BLM/LE appearance for public contacts) For Reference: The 2025-26 "Yamaha Grizzly 700 EPS XT-R" model adheres to these specifications. -- 1 of 1 --
