Description
VISN 19 ScriptPro Pharmacy Endpoints Windows 11 Upgrade
Installation Criteria and Technical Specifications
Background:
The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 19 is currently utilizing the ScriptPro Pharmacy Management system at all outpatient pharmacy locations. The current system is running on Windows 10, which is no longer supported by Microsoft as of October 2025. Scriptpro USA Inc. holds proprietary rights to software, upgrades, and component equipment to be used with its pharmacy dispensing automation. VISN 19 is requesting the purchase of a Windows 11 upgrade and workstation hardware replacement for the Scriptpro pharmacy endpoints. The purchase, installation, and upgrade of these components can only be completed through Scriptpro due to the proprietary nature of the request, as well as the need to maintain integrity, safety, and accuracy of the systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
This requirement is needed for all eight main sites in VISN 19: VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECH), VA Salt Lake City Health Care System (SLC), VA Oklahoma City Health Care System (OKL), VA Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System (MUS), VA Montana Health Care System (FHM), VA Western Colorado Health Care System (GRJ), Cheyenne VA Medical Center (CHY), and Sheridan VA Medical Center (SHE).
This upgrade will include installation of internal computer components so we can upgrade to a newer operating system and includes complete replacement of some computers and printers. The new workstations are smaller and will reduce the footprint size required in the pharmacy work areas. The endpoints that will be upgraded include noticeboards, kiosks, and robot internal computers. The endpoints that will be replaced are the workstations and printers. The offers must include all hardware, software, and labor to fully implement the requirements in this document. All necessary software including third party software must be provided to implement this system on VA virtual environment (i.e., MS SQL, MS Server OS, java, etc.).
