STATEMENT OF WORK
AF36 Measurement System
Scope of Work:
Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and expertise to perform Preventive Maintenance, Calibration, and Emergency Repairs Services to one Government owned AF36 Measurement System, Serial Number 130, located at Anniston Army Depot, 7 Frankford Ave, Anniston, AL. 36201-4199. The equipment is located in Building 133 on Anniston Army Depot (ANAD).
Services Included in Cost:
The price shall cover the cost of providing all things necessary to provide preventive maintenance, calibration service, and software maintenance. This price will include all transportation, travel time & expenses, labor, diagnostic and calibration, equipment, special tools, documents, schematics, common tools of the trade, etc. Reimbursement of travel and related expenses cost will be subject to the limitations of the Joint Travel Regulations.
Emergency Repair Services and Parts:
Emergency repairs shall be initiated as required and shall be subject to a “NOT TO EXCEED” cost amount determined by the Government on an annual basis. Emergency repairs and parts will be subject to the approval of the Contracting Officer. Once a request for an emergency repair is made, the Contractor must respond within 48 hours.
Contractor Personnel:
Contractor personnel will have hands-on experience in operating, servicing, calibrating, and maintaining the AF36 Air Flow Measurement System and shall perform all services to bring this equipment to 100% production capable readiness.
Work to be performed:
The AF36 Air Flow Measurement System calibration shall be completed in accordance with procedures outlined by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Contractor personnel will be required to perform preventive maintenance checks in conjunction with calibration services and shall consist of all things necessary to reduce equipment maintenance down town including inspection for worn or damaged parts, cleaning, and adjusting when needed. Upon completion of services, contractor personnel shall perform equipment operational checks/self-test procedures designed to and verify that the equipment is 100% operational and ready for government use. All equipment used to calibrate the AF36 Air Flow Measurement System shall be certified with standards traceable to the National Bureau of Standards (NBS). A certificate of compliance for the AF36 Air Flow Measurement System must be issued to the Government upon completion of calibration services.
Warranty:
Contractor must warranty all repairs for parts and workmanship. If a new repair has to be made within 90 days of the original repair, the rework shall be at no expense to the Government.
Normal Period of Support (NPS):
The normal period of maintenance support shall be Monday through Thursday 0700-1630 hrs. and 0700-1530 hrs. every other Friday. Maintenance support shall be made available to the Government during this period at a fixed hourly rate.
Support Outside Normal Period of Support (SONPS):
On-call emergency maintenance support shall be made available to the Government outside the Normal Period of Support (NPS) (including Federal holidays and weekends) at a fixed hourly rate (or rates), as specified in this contract.
Surveillance/Communication:
All technical surveillance of on-call, on-site services will be performed by the Contracting Officer’s Representative. After correction of each malfunction, the Contractor shall notify the contract administrator named in this contract. Communication of all technical matters pertaining to this contract shall be in writing directly between the Contractor and the Contracting Officer, Anniston Army Depot, ATTN: AMSTA-AN-CTCS, 7 Frankford Avenue, Anniston, Alabama 36201-4199, with a copy furnished to the COR.
Change of Scope of Work
The contractor shall not proceed with any verbal or written change(s) to the scop of work from sources other than the Contracting Officer, who will provide changes in writing.
