Description

STATEMENT OF WORK (PLC Training) 1. Objective/Requirements The objective is to provide comprehensive training for Programmable Logic Controls - CCP300 (Accelerated Logix5000 Maintainer Certificate Level 1) for technicians working in the wind tunnel complexes at Langley Research Center. This will equip personnel with essential skills for programming and troubleshooting. This will ultimately deliver greater operational efficiency and minimize system downtime. This training will take place on site at Langley Research Center, ensuring that all instruction will align with OSHA regulations as well as NASA safety standards throughout the duration of the course. 2. Characteristics and Scope The vendor shall perform the following tasks:  Deliver an intensive four-day program that covers the following: o Basic principles of Allen-Bradley PLC operation and uses o Basic troubleshooting of Allen-Bradley PLC systems o Basic programming of Allen-Bradley PLC systems o Advanced troubleshooting and programming of Allen-Bradley PLC systems  Provide hands-on instruction with practical exercises designed to reinforce key concepts and build confidence in managing automated equipment. All of their training labs are Allen-Bradley software and hardware  Provide Level 1 certification at the end of the training. 3. Vendor to Provide Training  Contractor must be an exclusive supplier for Rockwell automation providing training with Allen-Bradley PLC hardware. The PLC systems being utilized at tunnel facilities at Langley Research Center are almost exclusively Allen-Bradley systems (other than older and inferior systems). 4.
