Purchase And Installation of Cargo Terminal Dock Levelers and Equipment
1.0 SCOPE
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) defines the requirements for the removal or current
equipment, procurement, delivery, installation, and operator training for eight (8) new Dock
Leveler systems and all associated auxiliary equipment. These systems will directly support the
305th Aerial Port Squadron (305 APS) at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL), New
Jersey. All delivered equipment, installation procedures, and operational capabilities shall
strictly comply with all applicable Department of War (DoW), Air Force, and Occupational
Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS

3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Equipment Specifications
The contractor shall provide:
• Eight (8) Dock Levelers
• Load capacity: 45,000 lbs. minimum
• Dimensions: W 7 ft x L 10 ft
• Integrated Truck Restraints
• Power source: Eight (8) 3 Phase 460V Terminal Panels
• Eight (8) Seals and Shelters/ (16) bumpers
3.2 Delivery and Setup
• Delivery shall be FOB Destination to 1757 Vandenberg Ave Joint Base McGuire-Dix-
Lakehurst, NJ 08041
• Contractor shall Install all necessary equipment upon arrival
• Contractor shall verify functionality and conduct a load test
3.3 Training
• Provide on-site operator training for up to 4 personnel
• Training shall include safety procedures, operation, routine maintenance, and
troubleshooting
• Provide training materials (manuals, quick reference guides, digital media)

5.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
All work, including training, shall be completed within 45 calendar days from date of contract
award.
6.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY / SERVICES
The Government will provide access to the setup area, electricity, and support personnel for
coordination. No other government furnished property or services are provided.
7.0 SECURITY
Contractor personnel must comply with base access procedures and may be subject to
background checks. A list of personnel requiring access and proper identification must be
submitted at least 10 business days in advance.
OPSEC: The contractor shall be responsible for safeguarding military information as outlined
by the JB MDL Commander. Contractor personnel will not take photographs of military
facilities, equipment or personnel unless cleared through the proper channels
