HPX-1 Plus Computed Radiography System

STATEMENT OF WORK HPX-1 Plus Computed Radiography System 1. Objective/Requirements NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center requires a Carestream INDUSTREX HPX-1 Plus computed radiography system to support industrial radiography inspection of aircraft, aircraft components, research hardware, and related aerospace structures. The system is required to support digital radiography inspection capability, image acquisition, image review, and inspection documentation in accordance with applicable Government and Department of Defense nondestructive inspection procedures. The HPX-1 Plus system is required to maintain standardization with DoD digital radiography practices, Carestream-based inspection workflows, and applicable inspection procedures that rely on Carestream INDUSTREX equipment, imaging plates, cassettes, and software. The scanner, imaging plates, cassettes, software, calibration process, and image-processing workflow function together as a controlled inspection system. 2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specifications The contractor shall provide one complete Carestream INDUSTREX HPX-1 Plus computed radiography system and associated accessories. The system shall include the following items:  One Carestream INDUSTREX HPX-1 Plus CR Reader, Cat. No. 1514439.  One INDUSTREX Desktop PC, no monitor, Cat. No. 1054402.  One INDUSTREX HPX-1 Diagnostic Tool Kit, Cat. No. 1008804.  One INDUSTREX HPX-1 Digital Plate Carrier, Cat. No. 1008796.  One INDUSTREX CR Cassette with 10 mil copper, Cat. No. 8583619.  One INDUSTREX CR Cassette with 10 mil copper, Cat. No. 1543826.  One INDUSTREX Cassette Plate Extraction Tool, Cat. No. 8423600. All components shall be new OEM Carestream/INDUSTREX equipment and shall be mutually compatible as a complete computed radiography inspection system. Substitution of another -- 1 of 2 -- manufacturer or alternate model is not acceptable unless specifically approved by the Government. 3. Deliverables The contractor shall provide:  One complete Carestream INDUSTREX HPX-1 Plus CR Reader system.  One INDUSTREX desktop computer as identified in the accepted quotation.  One HPX-1 diagnostic tool kit.  One HPX-1 digital plate carrier.  Two INDUSTREX CR cassettes with 10 mil copper.  One cassette plate extraction tool.  Applicable software, manuals, setup documentation, warranty documentation, and packing list.  Invoice consistent with the accepted quotation. 4. Delivery, Inspection, and Acceptance Delivery shall be coordinated with the Government point of contact. Upon receipt, the Government will inspect the shipment to verify that all quoted items are present, new, undamaged, properly identified, and compatible with the HPX-1 Plus system. Government acceptance will occur after verification of delivered quantities, part numbers, documentation, and basic system condition. The Government may perform basic setup, power- on, and functional checks before final acceptance. 5. Place of Performance/Delivery NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center Edwards, California 93523 6. Period of Performance The period of performance shall begin on the date of award and continue through final delivery and Government acceptance.
