STATEMENT OF WORK for DESIGN, MATERIAL AND INSTALLATION OF FURNITURE at PUGET SOUND NAVAL SHIPYARD & INTERMEDIATE MAINTENANCE FACILITY (PSNS&IMF), Naval Base Kitsap, Bremerton, WA Site: Building. 78 SCOPE - This statement of work summarizes those characteristics that are essential to meet the minimum Government need for an on-site installed system of workstations, and various furniture items, for Building 78 1st and 2nd floors, within the CIA (Controlled Industrial Area) at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Bremerton, WA site per conceptual furniture design drawings. This Project Kit includes the furniture design, material delivery, and installation of the material as specified herein. The suggested source for this project is SCS Worldwide. The vendor shall provide the Bill of Materials (BOM), design drawings, and product specifications with their solicitation response. The design drawings should be provided in an electronic format compatible with AutoCAD 2013. It is the Government’s intent that the Contractor, awarded this contract, be responsible for the accomplishment of all work detailed by this specification. Order of Precedence. This details Statement of Work (SOW) shall take precedence over the Conceptual Drawings and Project ROM Material List regarding product detail specifications. There are no existing furniture systems in this building that require removal. All products shall have Scientific Certification Systems (SCS Global) Indoor Advantage Gold Certification for environmental, sustainability and food quality certification, auditing, testing and standards development. Project shall be completed within 60 days of furniture delivery. The installation sequence shall start on the second and finish up on the first floor. The installation duration of each floor shall not exceed fourteen (14) calendar days. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 9/28/2026 to 1/15/2027 PROJECT REQUIREMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS This project furniture kit consists of design and installation for: one hundred nine (109) Cubicles (Section 2.1.1); twelve (12) Break Areas (Section 2.1.2); ten (10) Offices (Section 2.1.3); six (6) Conference Areas (Section 2.1.4); fourteen (14) Print Stations and Open Office Storage (Section 2.1.5); seventeen (17) Muster Areas (Section 2.1.6). The furniture breakdown and specifications are contained within the following sub-sections. Cubicles in Open Office areas (Rooms 138A, 143, 201, 201B, 202, 208, 209, 210, 220, 223, 229, 234, 237) shall contain cubicle furniture. This project kit consists of one hundred nine (109) 48 sq. ft. minimum interior dimension (6’x8’) cubicles. These cubicles shall be modular system furniture. Locking devices per cubicle shall be keyed alike. The following furniture specifications apply to all furniture components, per conceptual furniture design drawings and ROM Material List. Fabric Panels. Each cubicle shall have acoustic fabric tile panels of differing widths. These panels shall consist of fabric interiors. The quantity of system panels can be modified when cubicle panels are shared with contiguous cubicles. The design concept consists of each being 66” heigh tile or monolithic panels with a 2” depth. When panels are adjacent to windows, use a minimum height of 42" to maximum of 48” panels. Provide one (1) 24” high White Board tile panel per cubicle, integral to the system panels, and adjacent to the Adj. Height Desk (typically to the right). Width: minimum of 24” to maximum of 48”. Depth: minimum of 2” to maximum of 2.25”. Height: minimum of 42” to maximum of 66” with adjustable levelers. Panel Core structure shall consist of sound steel framing supporting the perimeter of the panel. Panel Trim shall be metal. The base of the panels shall be structurally sound with steel reinforced framing. Raceway pan height shall be a minimum of 4” to maximum of 8”. Raceway covers shall be steel with bezels that have the capability to accommodate furniture electrical outlets. Also, the raceway covers shall be able to accommodate use of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) faceplate covers for data outlets without adding a surface mounted box. One (1) open furniture bezel shall be provided per cubicle to allow data service cables to pass through the raceway cover without being chaffed or damaged by the raceway cover. The panel core shall have Acoustical insulation material with properties as follows: Capable of supporting the Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) maximum rating of .9 to a minimum rating of .75. And either an overall Sound Transmission Class (STC) minimum rating of 22 and maximum of 53. Or a Noise Isolation Class (NIC) grade minimum rating of 20 and maximum of 40, at 7 feet distance from the panel without sound masking. To achieve these specifications, in-frame acoustic material may be required. All panel exteriors shall be covered with tack able acoustic material top to base with monolithic panels along walkways and monolithic or tiled panels within the cubicle area. If acoustic panels are within one (1) foot of a structural wall or column, these panels shall have a minimum of 16” open bottom panels below the work surface height to allow user access to wall mounted service outlets. Base of panel electrical service outlets shall include a minimum of two duplex and a maximum of three duplex electrical receptacles in the panels adjacent to the corner of work surfaces. The Electrical Distribution System within the panels shall be an 8-wire system to meet NFPA / NEC 70 2023 standards and have the capability of supporting the following requirements. This system shall be designed for a maximum of four (4) cubicles supported by one (1) electrical circuit.
