DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/STATEMENT OF WORK
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DESCRIPTION OF CONTRACT: The Contractor shall provide and deliver Bio-Rad reagents on a cost
per kit (CPK) reagent basis used for performing clinical immunoassay analysis on Bio-Rad Bioplex 2200
as required by Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC), 24 August 2026 through 23
August 2028 with one (1) base year and one (1) one-year option period. The contractor shall provide all
labor, materials, equipment, preventive maintenance of equipment, training on equipment,
transportation, consumables, installation/removal of equipment and major/incidental repair services of
equipment at no additional costs under this contract to support the performance of immunoassay analysis
on the Bio-Rad Bioplex 2200.
The contractor shall furnish a firm-fixed price list as required by the Contracting Officer. Such unit
price list shall become part of this contarct for the specific period stated in the price list. Individual calls/
orders for items to be furnished under this contract shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the
contract.

SERVICE:
The contractor shall provide emergency telephone assistance during hours of operations 08:00 through
17:00 five days per week, Mondays through Fridays. If additional, on-site troubleshooting by a Field
Service Representative (FSR) is required to resolve the issue, the Contractor shall dispatch an FSR. Service.

are performed during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (local
time) excluding RD holidays.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
The Contractor shall provide regular, scheduled maintenance to ensure the continued reliable operation of
the equipment. These preventive maintenance visits shall be of a frequency conforming to the
manufacturer's operation and maintenance instructions for the supported equipment. However, if scheduled
maintenance services for commercial customers exceed the manufacturer's operation and maintenance
instructions, the same shall be provided to the Government for the same model of clinical laboratory
equipment.
EMERGENCY REPAIR / MAINTENANCE: Emergency repairs shall be performed after notification
that the equipment is inoperative. The Contractor shall provide the Government with a designated point of
contact to enable maintenance representative to receive such notification. The Government shall provide
the Contractor with access to the equipment. Emergency repairs shall be performed by the Contractor within
24 hours after receipt of notification from the Government. The Contractor shall be responsible for all parts
and labor needed to repair Contractor-owned equipment in support of performing the clinical chemistry and
immunoassay analysis.
