Project Title: Deflorez Lab Furniture Upgrade Activity Location: DeFlorez Building, NSA Orlando Scope of Work Prepared by: NAWCTSD, Orlando PART 1 GENERAL 1 GENERAL INFORMATION: It is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning to provide new systems furniture in rooms 2152, 2151, and 5115 in the Deflorez Building of NAS Orlando located at 12211 Science Drive, Orlando, FL 32826. 1.1 Detailed Project Description Phase 1: Purchase, ship, and store new systems furniture as listed in the materials list. Furniture must match existing. All work to be coordinated with the government (NAWCTSD) and work must be completed by 25 September 2026. Several requirements for this project phase are as follows: • All applicable federal, state, and local codes shall be followed including but not limited to Unified Facility Criteria found at https://www.wbdg.org/ffc/dod/unified-facilities- criteria-ufc • Ensuring that all work is tested to be complete and useable • Ensuring dust and noise levels are kept to a minimum with daily cleanup. 1.2 SUBMITTALS Submit three copies of the following for approval by the Contracting Officer within 7 calendar days after award. 1.2.1 Statements a. Safety Data Sheet (SDS), b. Statement of Nonuse of Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS), c. Accident Prevention Plan including Activity Hazard Analysis, d. Work Schedule, e. Bonds and insurance. f. Name, SSN, and Citizenship of each on site worker, and g. Standard drawings in ACAD LT 2012 and PDF. 1.3 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE -- 1 of 3 -- Project Title: Deflorez Lab Furniture Upgrade Activity Location: DeFlorez Building, NSA Orlando Scope of Work Prepared by: NAWCTSD, Orlando a. The Contractor shall be required to complete all work, ready for use, not later than 25 September 2026. 1.4 DEFINITIONS Where "as shown", "as indicated", "as detailed", or words of similar import are used, it shall be understood that reference to the drawings/sketches accompanying this specification is made unless stated otherwise. Where "as directed", "as permitted", "approved", "acceptance", or words of similar import are used, it shall be understood that the direction, requirements, permission, approval, or acceptance of the Contracting Officer is intended unless stated otherwise. As used herein, "provided" shall be understood to mean "provided complete in place in a completely usable condition", that is "furnished and installed". As used herein "secure" shall be understood to mean "marked by solidity, firmness, and stability, especially in design or construction". 1.5 SAFETY REQUIREMENTS In performing the contract, the Contractor shall provide for protecting the lives and health of employees and other persons and for preventing damage to property, materials, supplies and equipment in accordance with the latest revision of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers "Safety and Health Requirements Manuals" (EM 385-1-1) and "Occupational Safety and Health Standards" (29 CFR 1910). Prior to commencement of the work, the Contractor shall meet in conference with representatives of the Contracting Officer to discuss and develop mutual understandings relative to the administration of safety. All OSHA work standards shall be followed including but not limited to Lockout/Tagout procedures. Electrical Safety Code and OSHA 1910 subchapter S shall be specifically followed. Prior to commencement of the work, the contractor shall meet in conference with representatives of the Contracting Officer to discuss and develop a mutual understand relative to the administration of safety. Power shall not be deenergized without at least 2 weeks’ prior approval of the Contracting Officer. No live electrical work shall be permitted. PART 2 PRODUCTS Use only Contracting Officer approved parts or materials. PART 3 EXECUTION 3.1 STATION REGULATIONS The Contractor and his employees and subcontractors shall become familiar with and obey all applicable Federal, State, local and station regulations, including fire, safety, traffic, and security -- 2 of 3 -- Project Title: Deflorez Lab Furniture Upgrade Activity Location: DeFlorez Building, NSA Orlando Scope of Work Prepared by: NAWCTSD, Orlando regulations. No employee of the Contractor shall be admitted to the work site without satisfactory proof of United States citizenship. Some work areas may require an escort and/or a security clearance for access. 3.1.1 Working Hours Work hours will be coordinated with the Contracting Officer. No power disruptions are allowable during normal working hours. The Contractor will work together with the Contract Surveillance Representative for access into restricted spaces. Contracting Officer shall approve working hours prior to commencement of work. Regular working hours shall consist of an 8- hour period established by the Contracting Officer between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Government holidays. -- End of Scope of Work -- -- 3 of 3 --
