Notice of Intent to Sole Source: Precision Analyzer Company Calibration Services

STATEMENT OF WORK Preventive Maintenance on government-owned PAC laboratory equipment. NAVSUP FLC-SD Petroleum Laboratory is a regional laboratory, located at Point Loma Fuel Department. This laboratory tests fuel samples and report all results to the Fleet as well as all Navy/Marine Air Stations. Requested purchase order is to perform yearly preventive/calibration on all government-owned automated laboratory equipment. All identified Laboratory equipment needing these services were manufactured/distributed by Petroleum Analyzer (PAC). Yearly service has been done by a PAC Technician authorized to perform required repair, calibration, cleaning, etc. These PM requirements will perform diagnostics of the unit, to identify if any worn or nearly consumed parts and alert laboratory personnel, thereby minimize unscheduled breakdown. This service is performed on-site and usually lasts 3-5 days. Included in this service is a certification stating the equipment/all equipment are in good condition. Additional service items include repairs to equipment that were identified in the previous equipment groom but were beyond the scope of normal calibration and maintenance and required additional parts and labor. -- 1 of 1 --
