The tanks service two fuel dispense pumps for watercraft. The Contractor shall remove existing two (2) 500-gallon above ground steel industrial fuel tanks and all piping and parts associated with existing fuel tanks at Goodfellow AFB Recreation Camp. The Contractor shall install one (1) new Double – Walled 500-gallon Fuel Storage Tank – UL2085 – Fireguard – Above-Ground Fuel Storage Tank or approved equal and all associated parts. 1.3 LOCATION: Goodfellow AFB Recreation Camp is located near Lake Nasworthy at 1950 E Concho Dr. Tom Green County, San Angelo, TX. The work on the Recreation Camp is for Facility #57140. See attached Technical Exhibits for location of fuel tanks. (TE-1). 1.4 REFERENCES: The Contractor shall identify and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws; statutes; Executive Orders; Department of Defense/Air Force manuals, handbooks, regulations, guidance, and policies. The Contractor shall comply with the National Institute of Building Sciences’ Whole Building Design Guide Construction Criteria Base Unified Facility Criteria (UFC) and all related libraries. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to identify and comply with all applicable requirements. In addition to the documents referenced above, all publications listed herein shall be the most current editions in effect at the time of solicitation and form a part of this SOW: UNIFIED FACILITIES CRITERIA (UFC) 3-460-01 DESIGN: PETROLEUM FUEL FACILITIES 2024 NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (NFPA) 31- STANDARD FOR THE INSTALLATION OF OIL-BURNING EQUIPMENT 2024 NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (NFPA) 30 – FLAMMABLE AND COMBUSTIBLE LIQUIDS CODE 2024 NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (NFPA) 30A – CODE FOR MOTOR FUEL DISPENSING FACITLITIES AND REPAIR GARAGES -- 3 of 14 -- 4 CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS (CFR) TITLE 40 WHOLE BUILDING DESIGN GUIDE (WBDG) AIR FORCE MANUAL (AFMAN) 32-1065 GROUNDING AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS 1.5 SITE VISITS: The Contractor may visit the premises to become thoroughly familiar with details of the work and working conditions, verify dimensions in the field, and shall advise the Contracting Officer of any discrepancies before starting work. 1.6 WORK AND MECHANICS: The work for this project shall be executed in the best and most workmanlike manner. Individual trade work for this project shall be performed and quality maintained by the applicable trade, only. All trades shall coordinate their work with that of other trades. The Contractor shall coordinate and perform all operations in a manner that will result in a professional and expeditiously completed project. The work shall be in strict accordance with prevailing industry standards and manufacturer’s instructions. 1.6.1 PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The period of performance for all work shall be one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days. 1.6.2 WORKING CONDITIONS: Working hours for the contractor will normally be between the hours of 7:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. excluding Saturdays, Sundays, Federal holidays, and days designated as “Family Days” by Air Education and Training Command (AETC). See the table below for reference for the 2025-2026 dates and refer to Section H of the solicitation /contract document for further information on working days. Any holiday falling on a Saturday will be observed the preceding Friday. Any Holiday falling on a Sunday will be observed the following Monday. If the Contractor desires to work during periods other than above, a request must be made to the Contracting Officer in writing three (3) calendar days in advance of his/her intention.
