Propulsion Units and Associated Parts for CG Arctic Landing Craft CG 361069
1. DELIVERY LOCATION & REQUIRED SCHEDULE:
Delivery Location:USCG Industrial Production Facility (IPF) Base Ketchikan1300 Stedman StreetKetchikan, AK 99901
Required Delivery Date:All required parts and materials must be delivered to the specified location on or before 01 September 2026.
Alternative Delivery Proposals:If the required delivery date of 01 September 2026 is not feasible, the bidder must explicitly state their best proposed delivery date within their bid submission for evaluation by the Contracting Officer.
2. BACKGROUND:This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for the procurement of main propulsion diesel engines and associated parts for the repower of a 36’ Coast Guard Arctic Landing Craft. The goal of this procurement is to support a full repower of the vessel at a government depot maintenance facility.
3. SCOPE OF WORK:The Contractor shall provide and deliver all items as listed in Section 5, "Required Parts and Materials." The Contractor is responsible for all costs associated with the procurement and delivery of these items to the specified delivery location, and ensuring the provided package constitutes a complete and compatible system ready for installation.
4. SPECIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:The Contractor must adhere to the following requirements:
System Completeness and Compatibility: The parts list provided in Section 5 is intended for a full vessel repower. The Contractor shall ensure all provided parts are fully compatible with one another. The Contractor shall include in their bid any ancillary parts, fittings, hardware, or minor components not explicitly listed in this SOW that are required by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the proper installation, commissioning, and operation of the propulsion system. The Contractor must explicitly itemize and note any of these additional, unlisted ancillary parts on their bid submission.
Superseded Parts: If any part number listed in Section 5 has been superseded, obsoleted, or updated by the OEM, the Contractor shall provide the current, direct OEM replacement part. The Contractor must clearly identify and document any superseded part numbers in their bid submission and on the final packing list to maintain traceability.
Part Condition: All parts and materials supplied must be new and in unused condition. Remanufactured or refurbished parts are not acceptable.
Authorized Vendor: All parts must be sourced from the OEM (Volvo Penta) or a manufacturer-authorized distributor.
Warranty: All items must be covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty. The Contractor shall provide all necessary warranty documentation upon delivery.
Freight: The bid price shall be inclusive of all shipping, freight, and delivery charges to the specified "Place of Delivery" in Ketchikan, AK.
5. REQUIRED PARTS AND MATERIALS:The Contractor shall provide the following items. All part numbers are Volvo Penta unless otherwise specified.

7. DATA DELIVERABLES:The Contractor shall provide the following data upon or before delivery of the materials:
Documentation confirming all parts are from an OEM-authorized vendor.
OEM warranty documentation for all applicable items.
A packing list detailing all items shipped, specifically noting any OEM-authorized superseded part numbers and any additional ancillary items provided.
8.
