Description

Specifications/Item Listing (Commodity) Statement of Work (SOW) for 60 AMW Generational Communication Training on 20 August 2026 1 June 2026 version 1 The 60th Air Mobility Wing (60 AMW) has a critical need for generational communication training to address gaps in understanding and collaboration among personnel of different generations. The objective of this initiative is to bring a dedicated generational communication keynote speaker from genWHY Communications to Travis Air Force Base to deliver a half-day session tailored for senior leaders of the 60 AMW. This engagement aims to foster greater understanding, collaboration, and alignment with the organization’s mission by addressing generational challenges within the workforce. While the Air Force offers standard leadership training programs, these often lack the personalized and interactive elements necessary to create a lasting impact. The addition of an external speaker with expertise in generational communication provides a unique opportunity to address the following gaps: 1. Enhanced Engagement: Current training may focus on procedural elements without delving into the transformative aspects of generational communication. An external speaker can bring a unique perspective that resonates deeply, using storytelling, real-life examples, and proven strategies to engage personnel in meaningful dialogue. 2. Bridging Generational Gaps: The lack of generational communication can lead to barriers and misaligned expectations. The speaker will equip leaders with actionable tools to bridge these gaps, fostering a culture of inclusivity and teamwork. 3. Leadership Development: A dynamic presentation can address the specific needs of leaders in managing and motivating multigenerational teams. This approach aligns with Air Force priorities to build resilient, adaptable, and inclusive leadership structures. 4. Increased Cohesion & Morale: When senior leaders prioritize understanding and inclusivity, it fosters a supportive environment, improving team cohesion and morale. A speaker who personalizes the message to reflect workforce diversity will make a profound impact, encouraging collaboration and mutual respect. 5. Customized Message for 60 AMW: The 60 AMW workforce includes personnel from multiple generations with varying perspectives and expectations. The speaker will tailor the session to reflect these unique dynamics, ensuring relevance and applicability to the organization’s goals. Scope of Work: The speaker will conduct two 2-hour training sessions on August 20, 2026, from 0800-1600. PST at the Delta Breeze Community Center. The session will include a combination of keynote presentations, interactive breakout discussions, and a Q&A segment to maximize participation and engagement. Deliverables: 1. Tailored Keynote Presentation: o Addressing generational communication, leadership strategies, and actionable insights for bridging generational gaps. -- 1 of 2 -- 2. Breakout Discussions: o Interactive activities and group discussions tailored to Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z. 3. Post-Presentation Q&A Session: o A 30-minute session to allow participants to engage directly with the speaker and address specific concerns. 4.
