GENERAL 1.1 BACKGROUND: This document sets forth the requirements for the overhaul services, receipt, storage, inspection, repair, testing, preservation, packaging, packing, and marking of TRS-3D / AN SPS-75 Air Search Radar System overhaul components, the following items. Items as received by the contractor must be complete and of the proper cited part number. Discrepancies shall be reported to the Coast Guard Contracting Officer within 10 days. 1.2 SCOPE: U.S. Coast Guard SFLC requires complete overhaul/ repair services for the item(s) listed in 1. This repair requirement establishes uniform standards and procedures to be used in the repair process, for example, receipt and evaluation, testing, maintenance procedures, selection and use of parts and material, marking, preservation, and packing for shipment. The requirements described herein are considered minimum and are not intended to replace any procedures, controls, examinations, or tests normally employed by the contractor to assure the quality of the electronic equipment and those aspects of the maintenance processes, which are applicable to electronic equipment. 1.3 OBJECTIVE: The objective of this contract is the repairs of the following types of equipment/components are included in this specification: Complete assemblies, Equipment subassemblies, Circuit card assemblies, Power supplies, Modules and other components as specified in solicitation.
