PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SYNOPSIS The following is only a pre-solicitation notice, not a formal solicitation Request for Proposal. The Department of the Interior-National Park Service (NPS), ConOps East intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a firm fixed price construction contract to rehabilitate a partially buried brick and concrete cistern used as the water supply for Dry Tortugas National Park. The contractor shall provide all technical support, materials, tools, equipment, and labor required to complete the project according to the statement of work that will conform part of the solicitation. This requirement is being prepared per FAR Part 36, Construction Contracts, and will be solicited as a Total Small Business Set- Aside. NAICS Code: 237110, Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, Standard Business Size is $45.0M. The solicitation including all bid documents, will be posted on SAM.gov on or around June 24, 2026. If you have any registration questions, please call the SAM.gov help desk at (866) 606- 8220. This solicitation and any amendments will be issued electronically only; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package, you must download it from SAM.gov. It is the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM-System for Award Management to receive contract awards. A site visit will be conducted to which contractors are strongly advised to attend.
