Project Title: B7 HVAC & Electrical Upgrade Location: COLUMBIA VA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM, 6439 Garners Ferry Road Columbia, SC 29209 NAICS Code: 236220 Product or Service Code (PSC): Z1DZ Estimated Magnitude of Construction: Between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Anticipated Solicitation Release Date: On or about 7/16/2026 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work to replace the existing site Domestic water and fire piping loop with a new system designed to meet the current VA standards and reduce service interruptions, accommodate future construction, and rectify domestic water and fire piping issues on the Columbia VAMC campus, as required by drawings and specifications. Site work will be performed throughout Building 7 and Building 8 at the Dorn VA Medical Center, Columbia, SC. Building 7. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12. The forthcoming solicitation will be a 100% SDVOSB set-aside solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the forthcoming solicitation. The solicitation documents will be made available on the Governmentwide Point of Entry (SAM.gov). No hard copies will be provided.
