Description

STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Objective/Requirements This requirement is for the acquisition of the Agilis NSMS Test System for NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). The 8-channel system hardware along with the software for post processing data. Support for conceptual design of the first measurement test article as well as on-site and remote training is needed to reliably acquire high speed stress measurement for turbomachinery. This laser tip timing measurement system is necessary for the turbopump for InRoDES in house rotating detonation rocket engine development and test program. The information listed below is required to complete this purchase. 2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs The vendor shall provide the following Data Acquisition (DAQ) hardware for the non- intrusive stress measurement system. a) 8-channel digitizer with a wheeled rack including: i) StarCase to house DAQ components with all required internal cabling ii) 8-channel high speed PCIe-based embedded digitizer iii) One (1) patch panel (BNC-to-BNC bulkhead) iv) Eight (8) BNC-to-SMB Cables v) One (1) each of front drawer and power strip vi) One (1) set of computer mounting brackets NASA shall provide the following Data Acquisition (DAQ) hardware for the non- intrusive stress measurement system. a) Workstation computer to meet the following minimum requirements recommended by Agilis: i) Workstation processor: HP Z4 G5 workstation with Xeon 8-core processor and 32 GB RAM ii) Operating system: Windows 11 Professional (64-bit) operating system. iii) I/O devices: mouse, keyboard, and monitor. iv) Two (2) LAN RJ-45 ports and Wi-Fi v) One (1) 512 Gb NVME SSD for the operating system vi) One (1) 4 Tb NVME SSD for data vii) Microsoft Office Included viii) Dedicated Graphics card included ix) 220V/50 Hz AC and 120V/60 Hz AC compatible. The vendor shall provide the following system hardware for the non-intrusive stress measurement system. a) Agilis Model 8500 Laser / Detector Module 1 enclosure i) height -- 1 of 3 -- ii) 808 nm wavelength iii) Semiconductor diode classification, Class 3B laser iv) Interlock safety feature so the opening of a test cell door will turn off the lasers v) Water and/or air cooled vi) Ethernet connector laser side to computer vii) Avalanche Photodiode (APD) detector type viii) ST connectors on both transmit and receive legs of probe interface ix) BNC connector detector side to computer b) One (1) 8-channel Laser / Detector Modules. c) One (1) Ethernet cables for laser operational control from computer 100-foot length d) One (1) harnessed BNC cable bundles. 9-channel (one spare) 100-foot length. e) One (1) 9-channel probe cooling/purge systems Each purge system contains: i) One (1) 9-port pressure controlled manifold assembly ii) Eight (8) probe cooling hoses The vendor shall provide the following probe hardware for the non-intrusive stress measurement system. a) Nine (9) AMS standard unlensed optical spot probes i) 0.065-inch diameter hypo tube ii) 36-inch hypo tube length iii) 34 feet overall length The vendor shall provide the following system software for the non-intrusive stress measurement System. a) One (1) perpetual, node-locked license for software for vibration data post processing such as c360 Off Line Software VIBRATION Bundle license or equivalent b) One (1) perpetual, node-locked license for software for live test data acquisition such as c360 Real Time Software TEST Bundle license or equivalent. Training support from the vendor up to one week. And an additional one-week post consultation fee for data processing training. 3. Place of Performance Contractor shall ship or hand deliver all deliverables and process development samples to: Marshall Space Flight Center Central Receiving, Bldg 4631 Huntsville, AL 35812 4.
