Project title: B457 Hanger 2&4 120v Outlet
Period of Performance: 30 Days
Objectives:
We require (1) duplex 120v outlet to be installed with power, between hangers 1&2 and (1) duplex
120v outlet between hangars 3&4 on the vertical beam next to the Liquid Cooling Cart reels (LCC).
This additional capability will allow Air Force and L3 personnel to fully operate and repair the RC-
135 mission systems within the Hangar. This will drastically reduce wasted man hours and
eliminate the manpower required towing Aircraft for maintenance. This will be unit funded.
General Requirements:
Project includes, but is not limited to, the following work elements. The Contractor shall furnish all
required services, labor, tools, material, and equipment necessary to complete the installation and
integration of the prime mission equipment in accordance with the approved site design and
installation plan. No alterations, additions, or deletions shall be made unless by prior approval of
the Contracting Officer (CO). All work will meet the International Building Code, Uniform
Plumbing Code, National Electrical Code, AFI, UFC, UFGS, ASME, ASTM, ASHRAE, ETL,
NFPA 72 and any other applicable code requirement. The contractor shall maintain the work site in
a clean and orderly manner so that the safest possible site is provided for workers and AF members.
Work shall be completed in a neat, substantial, and competent manner. The contractor shall perform
quality assurance activities that conform to the quality assurance processes outlined in international
organization of Standards (ISO) 9001, Quality Management Systems. The contractor shall use
SOW requirements.
Scope:
1. Install 2 total 120v duplex outlets
a. Locate on vertical beam between hangers 1&2 (qty1) and hangers 3&4
b. GFCI surface mount receipt w/ switched control
c. Outlet must be connected to power

4. Additional General Requirements
• Item 1: All work will meet the International Building Code, Uniform Plumbing Code,
National Electrical Code, IPC, ASME, ASHRAE, AFI, ETL, UFC, NFPA, 178 NAC 2, and
any other applicable code or regulation requirement and manufacturers recommendations.
• Item 2: Maintain work site in a clean and orderly manner so that the safest possible site is
provided for workers and AF members.
• Item 3: It is recommended that contractor visit site before starting any work to verify
existing conditions/space requirements in work areas.
• Item 4: The Contractor shall furnish all required services, labor, tools, material, and
equipment necessary to complete the installation and integration of the prime mission
equipment in accordance with the approved site design and installation plan. No alterations,
additions, or deletions shall be made unless by prior approval of the Contracting Officer
(CO).
• Ensure all construction meets federal regulations for safety standards.
• All security requirements must be met to include times of demolition and construction.
• At closeout the contractor shall provide a one-year workmanship warranty, equipment warranty
documents and O&M manuals.
• The Contractor shall furnish all required services, labor, tools, material, and equipment
necessary to complete the installation and integration of the prime mission equipment in
accordance with the approved site design and installation plan. In addition, the Contractor shall
be responsible for the following actions:
a. Obtaining all necessary security and safety clearances for facilities and personnel. This
includes obtaining escort badges necessary for unaccompanied work within the area.
b. Obtaining necessary certifications for installation equipment and technologies to be
installed.
c. Obtaining environmental and life safety approvals.
d. Acquiring all necessary federal, state, local and base environmental and civil engineering
permits and approvals.
e. Redlining installation drawings based upon actual installation results and
accommodations due to real-time installation change requirements.
f. Cleaning-up and restoring the site to its original or better condition within 10 workdays
after project completion. This includes removal of any portable offices that may have been
used to support implementation of the site design at the base.

g. Repairing damage to Government property resulting from contractor activities, assuring
the property is returned to its original or better condition.
h. Removing all debris at the end of each shift or more frequently if required to keep the
work area safe and useable.
i. Disposing of excess equipment and materials in accordance with General Requirements:
k. Preparing “as-built” drawings depicting the actual installation results. Electronic format
of “as-built” drawings provided to the Government shall be an AutoCAD .dwg format.
Security Requirements
The contractor or duly authorized representative shall comply with pertinent Air Force security
regulations while working on the project(s). Special security clearances such as Confidential,
Secret, etc., are not required by the contractor for this project. ALL POSSIBLE PRECAUTIONS
AND EFFORTS SHALL BE MADE TO PREVENT THE DISCLOSURE OF ANY
INFORMATION THAT MIGHT PROVIDE THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS,
MANUFACTURERS, OR SUPPLIERS AN ADVANTAGE OVER OTHERS.
