This is a non-personal services contract. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over contractor employees performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. -- 2 of 8 -- FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION F INANCE AND F ACILITIES D IVISION | PROCUREMENT SECTION STATEMENT OF WORK Attachment C – Statement of Work (SOW) Guide to Procurement SOP Version 2.6 Page 4 1.1 Description of Services/Introduction The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) mission is to protect and defend the United States against terrorist and foreign intelligence threats, to uphold and enforce the criminal laws of the United States, and to provide leadership and criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal, and international agencies and partners. The FBI performs these responsibilities in a manner that is responsive to the needs of the public and is faithful to the Constitution of the United States. The Radio Engineering Unit needs to remove and replace faulty equipment at our Pleasant Valley tower site to ensure reliable telecommunications needed while conducting investigations. The Detroit Field Office has a need for technical services to install 700FT of 1 5/8" feedline to replace damaged and partially removed feedline. Removal of two separate sections still on the tower. From the ground up to about 350FT and 355 feet to approximately 450FT. Possible replacement of antenna at 700FT depending on whether harness was damaged when feedline was removed. Repair or replace any missing cable clamps on the run. Line testing and antenna after installation for verification of proper installation. Midland Family Life radio guyed tower. The FBI transmitter is currently off the air. Services are for labor only. Maintenance Upgrades & Replacements The contractor shall provide technical services to install 700 feet of 1 5/8" feedline to replace damaged and partially removed feedline. Removal of two separate sections still on the tower. One from the ground up to about 350 feet and 355 feet to approximately 450 feet. Possible replacement of antenna at the 700 feet level depending on whether the harness was damaged when feedline was removed. Repair or replace any missing cable clamps on the run. Test new line and antenna after installation for verification of proper installation. The personnel will also need to be able to test antennas after installation and provide reports of testing.
