CUI CUI STATEMENT OF WORK FOR USTRANSCOM, COMMAND, CONTROL, COMM & CYBER SYSTEMS (TCJ6), BUILDING 1900 EAST, ROOM 268, ELECTRICAL AND COMM/LAN FOR FURNITURE REPLACEMENT AT SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, ILLINOIS July 2026 1. PROJECT SCOPE: United States Transportation Command requires upgraded electrical and comm/LAN drops to support new furniture in Building 1900 East, room 268. 2. STANDARDS, REGULATIONS, AND CODES: The work associated with this project shall adhere to all applicable standards, regulations, and codes, in effect as of this date of this statement of work (SOW), as detailed in the Scott AFB General Requirements (04 AUG 2023) - Section 01010 General Requirements and International Building Code, NFPA 1, NFPA 10, NFPA 13, NFPA 70, NFPA 72, NFPA 101, NFPA 241, UFC 1-200-01, UFC 3-600-01, UFC 4-021-01. 3. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION 3.1 SITE VISIT: 3.1.1. Contractor is responsible for verifying all requirements and conditions pre-bid. The Government intends to only hold one official site visit. Requests for additional site access must go through the 375th Contracting Squadron (375 CONS) point of contact (POC) listed in the Request for Proposal (RFP) letter. Any additional site access will be made available to all Contractors solicited for this project. 3.1.2. Contractor to be advised, the areas of work occur over and secure/sensitive areas where cell phones and other electronic devices will not be allowed. After award, contractors may be required to coordinate interior work with the 375th Civil Engineer Squadron (375 CES) and be accompanied by Government provided escorts. -- 1 of 8 -- CUI CUI 3.2. MEETINGS 3.2.1 Kick-Off Meeting/Project Schedule: Kick-off meeting to occur within one week of NTP. Overall project schedule with milestone markers and 2-week look ahead to be completed at kick-off meeting. 3.2.2 Bi-Weekly Meetings: Contractor shall coordinate with the 375th Contracting Squadron (375 CONS) on bi-weekly meetings once the construction phase begins. This meeting shall include a review of an updated 2-week look-ahead schedule. Contractor shall provide meeting minutes within 24 hours of each meeting and allow the Government up to 24 hours to accept or request changes to the minutes. 4. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: 4.1. ELECTRICAL: In conjunction with furniture installation, contractor shall complete all electrical and comm/LAN connections from panel boards to the system furniture (See Attachment. Furniture Requirements - Item List-Drawing). 4.1.1. Contractor will disconnect all existing power connections at the panel for the 13 modular/systems type furniture within room 268 to stage it for removal. All power whips/cords will be stored below the Raised Access Floor (RAF) to prevent obstructions. Should additional unused power cable be under the RAF, removal of those cables are additional. 4.1.2. Contractor will return after furniture install to reconnect power to 26 systems/modular furniture systems. 4.1.3. Contractor will provide power to systems furniture ensuring a maximum of 4 workstations per circuit. Each whip will provide 2 circuits allowing 8 workstations per whip. Contractor will install 7 Systems furniture whips. Contractor will install 2 recessed duplex receptacles for the 5 workstations that are not systems furniture and 2 duplex receptacles for the printers. Printer feeds will be connected to UPS fed panel. 4.1.4. Contractor will test affected electrical circuits for +/- 10% 120 voltage reading and load analysis to validate circuit does not exceed 80% of the OCPD sizing. All test results will be provided in a report in accordance with the quality assurance surveillance program. 4.1.5. Contactor will install and rewire existing power lines to the facility UPS as requested by customer. -- 2 of 8 -- CUI CUI 4.2. COMM/LAN: Contractor shall provide all supplies/materials/labor/testing necessary to remove/replace data and voice drops. Provide and install approximately 28 communication locations shown at Attachment. Furniture Requirements - Item List-Drawing. Remove and reinstall cubical COMM outlets. 4.2.1. All the installations below will adhere to the following practices. Drops will be labeled with room #/rack #/patch panel #/port # unless otherwise requested in writing. All cables will be routed in compliance with TIA/EIA 568C and terminated in accordance with TIA/EIA 568B. Three-foot maintenance loops will be staged appropriately within furniture or below RAF. 4.2.2. Room 268 CAT6A Install: 4.2.2.1. Contractor will provide shielded CAT6A cables, shielded CAT6A terminations, wall faceplates, furniture data faceplates, patch panels, shielded keystone RJ45 modules for walls, furniture, and patch panels, under desk shielded RJ45 keystone modules, and low voltage wall mount brackets for wall cut-in receptacles. 4.2.2.2. The contractor will remove all communications copper infrastructure from Rm 268 back to the Communications Room (Comm Rm) located just outside Rm 268. This will be coordinated with the furniture contractor and can be completed either prior to furniture removal or after. 4.2.2.3. Upon notification that furniture has been installed, contractor will return and install 2 shielded CAT6A (RJ45) cable drops in each of the 26 workstations/modular furniture systems. This will be coordinated with the furniture contractor and can be completed either prior to furniture partition covering “skins” or after. 4.2.2.4. Contractor will install dual RJ45 recessed wall faceplates in the 6 customer identified locations. 5 on the North wall for the T1 desks and 1 on the East wall for the NIPR printer location. 4.2.3. Room 268 Fiber Install: 4.2.3.1. Contractor will provide OM4 fiber optic cables, terminations, wall faceplates, furniture data faceplates, patch panels, keystone fiber modules for walls, furniture, and patch panels, under desk fiber keystone modules, low voltage wall mount brackets, and under RAF zone box. 4.2.3.2.
