The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, VA, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price purchase order for the procurement of Museum Exhibit Installation Preparation service for the Hampton Roads Naval Museum utilizing the procedures under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service in accordance with the information in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation will be available for download on or about 16 July 2026 under Request for Quotation (RFQ) number N0018926QL255 at the following website: https://beta.sam.gov/. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2026 -01 and DFARS Change Notice 20260507. All quotes shall include price(s), FOB destination, a point of contact, name and phone number, GSA contract number if applicable, cage code, business size, and net 30 payment terms. 52.237-1 SITE VISIT ADDENDUM The site visit is being conducted in accordance with FAR 52.237-1, Site Visit, which states that Quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general -- 1 of 19 -- and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Failure to attend the site visit does not preclude a vendor from being eligible for award; however, attendance is highly encouraged to ensure a clear understanding of the requirement and receipt of any information that may be exchanged vital to the nature of the requirement. There is to be no discussion of funding during the site visit. Any questions posed during the site visit will be documented and used to make updates to the PWS and/or the solicitation as appropriate. The Government does not intend to provide written responses to all questions following the site visit unless deemed to be necessary. There will be a formal question and answer period allotted for upon the issuance of the Request for Quotes. Any quoter that is interested in attending the site visit may indicate their intention to attend one day prior to the scheduled date. This statement of work is for the preparation of exhibit space at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, Norfolk VA. Background. The Hampton Roads Naval Museum (HRNM) is operated by the Department of the Navy and reports to the Naval History and Heritage Command in Washington, D.C. The museum is dedicated to the interpretation of the Navy in Hampton Roads from the Revolutionary War to the present day. The museum is located in the Nauticus building, 1 Waterside Dr. Norfolk VA. The museum is planning the third phase of an exhibit that will educate the public about the Navy in the Civil War. The exhibit is scheduled to be open in March 2027.
