SUBJECT: 22 STS Security Device Procurement and Installation
1. Summary: 22 STS requesting procurement and installation of 14 cameras, 1 monitoring
workstation with 30 days of storage, 6 door access readers, remote gate openers and the
possibility of 2 remote door releases with any required equipment and training for operation and
maintenance.
2. Scope: Contractor will supply and install all items listed in the requirements section to
properly outfit the STS building and create a functional CCTV system that can be viewed from
the designated monitoring station. Install 14 cameras utilizing fixed camera mounts to wall, drive
holes through CMU conduit to house new exterior camera wires. Seal off holes around conduit.
Once wire is inside building, run wires in existing baskets and hook low voltage camera wires to
existing spare accessory outlets.
3. Period of Performance: Contractor will have 180 days from award to install.
4. Hours of Operation: The contractor is responsible for conducting business Monday through
Friday between the hours of 0800-1700. The contractor may work outside of the stated hours if
requested and approved.
5. Requirements:
a. Cameras: Total of 14 cameras, including 8 exterior and 6 interior. Exterior cameras must
be day and night capable with high enough resolution to positively identify personnel in required
points in coverage area. Audio is not required.
b. Camera monitoring system located in center of building with previous 30-day recordings.
All software and licensing must be included and installed as well as provide training to personnel
for access and review of footage.
c. Training on all new hardware and software involved with this memorandum.
6. Camera locations: Locations are marked on map as approximations but may be adjusted for
best coverage and viewing points of interest.

a. Ext. North vestibule door to cover entry, weapons cleaning door, roll up and driveway.
b. Ext. North-east corner of building facing south to cover doors, roll ups and other camera.
c. Ext. East side outside watercraft maintenance facing north to cover doors, roll ups, vehicle
gate and other camera.
d. Ext. East side outside supply storage to cover doors and gym door.
e. Ext. East side outside war readiness facing south to cover roll up, door, gym door and
vehicle gate.
f. Ext. South-east corner to cover walkway approaching south doors.
g. Ext. West side outside laundry to cover doors and approach.
h. Ext. West side outside cable tv to cover doors and approach.
i. Int. 1F outside north vestibule to cover armory door and corridor.
j. Int. 1F central corridor to cover east vestibule and all three corridors.
k. Int. 1F north section of gear/equipment storage to cover 360° including west and south
doors, east corridor and north corridor with supply storage.
7. Warranty: Upon approved completion of work and before final payment provide a minimum
of one year warranty for defective work or equipment. The warranty is to be turned over to the
Government with the contractor’s point of contact and phone number for warranty items.
Additionally, provide maintenance instructions in an O&M manual to include all products and
replacement parts by part number, model, and manufacturer.
