Background The Marine Corps Installation Command (MCICOM) requires continued service and upgrades for its existing inventory (Quantity: 12) of 908 Devices MX908 Handheld High-Pressure Mass Spectrometers (HPMS™). Based on the provided sole source letter, 908 Devices, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer and the only authorized point of service for certified warranty, repair, upgrades, and technical support for these systems. 2. Scope The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and facilities to perform the services outlined below. The contractor shall furnish the following services. • BTUpgrade1 Bluetooth Upgrade; machined housing. Includes the addition of Bluetooth hardware, new top/bottom housing, and the latest enhancements to increase performance and durability. Devices are to be returned to the factory for upgrade service at a mutually agreeable time. • MX908 Software Update only; does not include a support contract, 24/7 technical support, or Reachback service. Includes one year of updates from the date of purchase. 3. Performance Requirements 3.1. Tasks: The Contractor shall provide Bluetooth Upgrade (Product Code: 720-00080) 3.1.1. Upgrade Machined housing which includes the addition of Bluetooth hardware, new top/bottom housing, and the latest enhancements to increase performance and durability. 3.2. Tasks: The Contractor shall provide device software update 3.2.1. Perform software update only; does not include a support contract, 24/7 technical support, or Reachback service.
